As well as the 1,000 lb Sumo Springs at the front, I also installed 2,600 lbs Sumo Springs at the rear of my Sprinter Class C motorhome. Aside from the amazing difference in handling that the Sumo Springs have made, I cannot put into words just how much I appreciate their work. Using their system, they minimize sway and improve coach handling, which has forced users to drive more relaxed. Getting the 500-lb springs is the only way you will be let down in the long run.

These have been added to my 31' Class C Winnebago motorhome. The front and rear have been added. They seemed a bit stiff at first. They settled in after a couple of days and I was amazed at what a difference it made. As a result, the coach no longer sways and rocks from side to side while parked. It is much better and more stable and eliminates the tendency to sway under lean conditions and as you pass through big rigs. There is more firmness in the ride, but it is A motor home owner who wishes to enhance safety and handling should consider Sumo Shocks.

With the exception of installing Koni shocks, this was the last bit of improvement needed to tame the vehicle. The motorhome I currently own is a Ford E450 Thor class C model from 2016. In addition to a 10 mm socket, racket and 3" extension, you will also need a 10 mm socket. As soon as the vehicle is raised with the automatic levelers (which I did), it takes about 20 minutes to finish To clean the treads, you will need to reinstall the OEM 10mm bolt, tighten it down, and then back it out. As a precaution, I rubbed a few drops of 3 n 1 oil on the bolt treads to help oil up the treads of the vehicle and make the Sumos installation easier. The vehicle is ready to be tested.
It is easy to install and the front ride is noticeably better than the original. If you are driving on longer hauls, this will help you. If you brake, the front of the vehicle will not bounce and you will not stoop down in your RV because of the front spring shock aid. Works for my Mercedes 3500 Class C RV. Added an update. On a wet road, I can feel the difference between the front shock and the rear shock - the front shock is more steady, feels more stable, and cuts out when you break.
