The spacer has an inch of height at the top. The piece beneath it is an inch longer. It was there before I switched to the Rancho quick lift system; it's definitely 2 inches higher and makes a noticeable difference.

This is what I installed on my 2009 Ford F150. I noticed one of my struts had blown while doing so. The bolt that held the coil in place was, of course, completely rusted. It was snapped. Rather than tinkering with them, I purchased a strut spring package. Place the spacer on top of the spacer. The front is now about 7/8" higher than it was before, with a 2 1/4" lift in the back. It's only because of the new springs that I'm writing this. For the back, I purchased a set of spring shocks. must be leveled When I tow my trailer, I don't have to squat as much. It'll probably stiffen the ride, but it'll look great.
This is exactly what I was looking for in a 2011 F-150. Crewcab model 150 In the back of the truck, I have Firestone Ride-Rite airbags installed. This necessitates a minimum of 18-mile run. 20 lbs. Due to the fact that installing the bags necessitates removing the factory bump-stops, there is a lot of pressure in them. When driving over a large bump or dip in the road, this stop prevents the axle from contacting the frame. Because that much pressure raises the rear by about an inch, you'll need a front leveling kit with at least 2 inches of lift to be level. With the addition of 1/8 inch washers on top of the spacer (making the spacer 1 3/8 inches, rather than 1 1/4 inches as intended), I was able to get around 2 1/4 inches of lift from this kit. I used three large washers, one of which had to have one edge ground off so that it wouldn't extend over the edge of the spacer while being used over the stud. To give the spacer more surface area to contact the strut tower, I glued two more washers where there was space on the spacer. If you want to make your spacer a little taller, keep in mind that you should use locktite on the top studs when installing the strut with the nuts provided in the kit. The stud will just about fit through the nut, but the nylon self-adhesive backing will prevent it from going all the way through. When fully tightened, the locking washer barely makes contact with the stud. In my opinion, it is better to be safe than sorry. Red locktite was used, but blue locktite should suffice. Because I had cut the studs shorter in order to install a Daystar 1" spacer kit (which I didn't like, by the way), I also used locktite on the studs on top of the actual strut. When installing the spacer on the strut, the factory studs didn't go all the way through the factory nuts because they were shortened. This problem will not occur if your factory strut has not been modified. br>br>The Tuff Country spacers are quite substantial. Compared to the polyurethane spacers sold by Daystar and others, these are more durable. Before I installed these, the Daystar spacers had compressed down over the factory strut's "standoffs," making them even thinner. It had been about 5 weeks since I had been on the truck! Those do not impress me in the least. I don't think the Tuff Country's could do anything like that because they're made of steel. Overall, this is a much more well-constructed kit. Those of you in the western United States may be interested in the following information. These can also be purchased at Les Schwab tire centers, but they will set you back around $150. They will, on the other hand, install them for you and perform any necessary alignment afterward. You'll have to fork over nearly $300 for this. My alignment will be done at the Ford dealership in a day or two for around $35, which I did myself. br>br>What more could you ask for than a great product that is well designed and manufactured and is available at a reasonable price? I wanted to bring my 2009 F-150 up to par. 150 This leveling kit will help you achieve your goal. I paid to have it installed professionally, and I'm glad I did. They had a difficult time removing the coilover shocks to install the coilovers at the top. On the ground in my driveway, I would never have been able to finish it. Because the truck was 5 years old and had 75 miles on it, the removal may have been difficult. It has a total mileage of 5,000 miles. I also had it realigned and new tires put on at the same time, because the kit leveled the truck and improved the appearance while having no effect on the steering or driveability. I'm glad I finished it, and I wouldn't hesitate to buy the same kit again.
Exceptional divider.
It took less than 2 hours to complete the installation. The factory rake is removed, resulting in a much more appealing appearance.
