Selected User Reviews For Skyjacker RA150 Radius Arm
During the winter, the stock driver's radius arm broke. I considered replacing it with stock radius arms, but after the lift and with the larger tires, my wheels began to rub the stock radius arms. So I found two options (for 2WD), with the skyjacker being the less expensive option (at least during a sale). I took it to a trusted local garage, and boy, did it cost a lot of money. In order for these arms to work, the STOCK rear frame mounts must be moved back exactly 15" (for a 4-wheel drive vehicle). 6" lift). I had to discard the mounts that came with my lift kit and replace them with factory-supplied parts. After that, the alignment went out of whack once more. Ball joints had to be inserted at a different angle this time. This was yet another bill to be added to the pile. The truck is now perfectly balanced, and these bad boys have no chance of breaking. Because they are curved for that reason, they have a very sturdy boxed construction and allow me a lot more steering. Bottom line, if you plan to go up 4 or more inches and are looking for the cheapest kit, you will have to add radius arms later if the kit does not include them. br>br>All the best.
