I'm not sure if they're cleco, but they work just as well as the other cleco brand I have, and I can't tell the difference if there is one.

aluminum, for example. Yes, they're a little pricey, but they're the gold standard for a reason. The rule of "buy once, cry once" is demonstrated here. There aren't any alternatives. These will walk away if you don't lock them in your box. br>br>Here's something to think about: br>A friend of mine (who is a sheet metal genius) once told me about his time in the military doing emergency aircraft repairs, and how they used to send planes on rescue missions (called up for SAR while in for repair work) held together by Clecos (life or death situations, not by choice). They managed to keep it together. The injured would be riveted together when the planes returned. I have faith in him. br>br>To install/remove them, get a good Cleco tool, and don't weld them in. That's all there is to it; go out and get some; you won't regret it.
These aren't the Cleco brand, and they're made in China. Every one of them has a missing silver button. Before squeezing the pliers to open it, I have to straighten it out. They're doing a great job. They have a good grip on the sheets. I just hope they last until I'm finished with them. If I wasn't so far behind schedule, I'd return them.
They work great and can be opened and removed with special pliers. Note that these are great for holding two pieces of sheet metal together before riveting (via the holes you'll use for riveting). br>br>Take careful note of the size of your rivets and holes. Many people use larger rivets than these, which are 1/8" in size. As a result, make sure you're wearing the correct size.
I bought these clecos for a new aluminum bot I'm working on, and they're fantastic. When I drill out rivets, the panels stay together until I replace them with new rivets. These clecos have exceeded my expectations in every way.
These pins were perfect for a car body project I had to complete. It was no problem to hold a couple of panels together!.
These are essential for holding sheet metal parts in place while they are being fabricated. They perform exactly as expected, with no failures so far on my project; be sure to use Cleco pliers to operate them.
When using solid rivets to assemble a cooling tank for a hit-and-miss engine, this is exactly what you need.
Allows center panel to be drilled or riveted.
