Can you tell me what the dimensions of each piece are? Changing the height of the truck would this alter it?

You might be able to help me with bushings for Ford Explorer What does 0 v6 2003 mean?

The Prothane Explorer kit is not available for the regular Explorer. They still haven't made one, but it would be great if they did.

Can these be used on the 2005 Sport Trac?

There is a lot less expense than Ford parts with this item.

Does this set of bushings fit the earlier versions made before 6/2001?

Fit was no problem for me since I made it in 2000

There is no evidence they are not doing their In truth, the body feels the same as when it was brand There was no B or C mount on my computer
5/5

As far as I could see, A and D mounts looked solid therefore, I left them in place. In Ford's B and C models, the B and C mounts were made from some soft, spongy material that quickly disintegrated. It is highly likely that any Ford Sport Trac from the 1st generation that has not yet had the B and C body mounts replaced will have very little left in them. I wasn't able to do the job myself, but you will need a floor jack and a thick wood block to lift the truck enough to complete the job. As for the bolts inside the cab, getting to them with an impact wrench was the most difficult part of the job. It will require some trimming to remove some pieces, and I would recommend removing the front seats, but I think you could do it without taking them out completely. It would be a good idea to thoroughly clean your cab during this time. I must say, that from start to finish it took me several hours, but if I did it again, I could probably do it in under two hours. I would recommend taking your time, making a plan and following it. It isn't difficult. You can probably do it on a Saturday afternoon if you're a DIYer. You may want to use the side nerf bars rather than lifting the truck with the side bar. As I watched a Youtube mechanic do it, I was shocked that he didn't ruin the car. Then you need to jack up the body directly at the weld points using a 4x4 woodblock. Look for a strong point a little way between the B and C mounts.

I have a 2002 Sport Trac that fits perfectly
5/5

In the first generation Sport Trac, 4 mounting stations are mounted on either side of the There are two A's on each grille side, and there are two D's on the back of the Among the factory mounts, there is the C&C Item D is total trash from the The drivers foot is under one of these. The others are just behind the driver's seat. A degrading foam product that's made from some sort of junk. It ended up being necessary to order new bolts & nuts We decided to match up the grille nuts before we even began the project since they would never come off, and there were too many rust spots right in front of the As soon as it is finished, the ride is better than ever. This is a well-designed product that is worth the effort and money. It has no clunks, tight body, etc. If you don't have a full weekend, you might want to get another vehicle to do it. I guess it took about eight hours with acetylene and air tools total. There will be a need to remove the front seats so they can be tucked under the mat to access bolts, but the seats can remain in the.

I found the instructions to be excellent and it was very well built
5/5

I found the instructions to be excellent and it was very well built. On every piece, the part number is printed. Some even say the part number is on the top or bottom or on You can watch a few videos on how to change It can be difficult to remove these bolts without assistance. When removing them, a small hand-held torch is essential to soften the locking pins at their ends. This was done on a 2003 Ford Explorer Sport Trac, so prepare to replace the bolts on the A position because the originals get really messed up. A few extensions are required to reach the top nuts on the A position and no special tools are needed. To change these, plan on one full day. The front seats needed to be removed, which is easy to do but still requires some patience.

This bushing replacement is perfect for your worn out bushings
5/5

My 2004 Sport Trac suffered from the same issue as everyone else with a 1st Gen Sport Trac. The bushings on the body mount had shrunk to practically nothing, causing loud and constant creaking and cracking sounds as I drove. These are great products, and I am glad I bought them based on some positive reviews posted on various forums. I was delighted with how well they fit and how easily they were installed. They prevented all of the annoying noises I was hearing.

Merchandise that has been refurbished or has defected
3/5

There was one support which failed during installation, as they rehabilitated it with an internal bushing, and then added a complement to bring it to the required diameter, which does not add confidence to the product. They were installed since I could not remove the vehicle from service. Several of them also have set defects, such as air bubbles.

I am awaiting a reply from the manufacturer on this issue.

The quality of the product is far superior to This bushing is much better than the OEM bushing
5/5

This Ford Explorer Sport Trac is available for sale. It took jacking, hoisting, working out, and sweat to get them in, but after watching a YouTube video and reading the instructions, it was relatively straightforward to install, just a little I think this product has a great price and it will be great if it works. While it is not known how long the chassis will last, it sure beats the chassis bouncing up and down all the time!.

The Ride has been greatly improved
5/5

The Ford Explorer Sport Trac is now equipped with these. Definitely a DIY kit worth checking out. To learn tips and tricks, take a look at the YouTube videos. I spent the weekend taking the bolts out since it was just a constant struggle to get them all free. It would be useful to have a couple extra jacks, ratchet extensions with a longer length, vice grips, and Wd40, as well as regular I was glad I did the task myself as it would have been extremely expensive to have it done in a shop. The locations were not difficult to access or complicated to reach. It was really a matter of breaking the bolts loose that was the most difficult part. This was mostly something I did on my own as well. My ride has definitely been improved since I installed this.

I am very happy with this This is what I use to replace my worn-out oil filters Spacers that are made of rubber OEM parts
5/5

As new as when my truck was, it still speaks the same way. I think it's actually handling a bit better than before it was replaced. This is a great product. I highly recommend it.
