Questions & Answers

The maximum psi for these is only 35 psi, according to the manufacturer. People are running them at 35 psi, even 50 psi, according to the reviews. How high can you go?

If you've loaded to the point where the 35 psi isn't cutting it, a few trips at 50 psi here and there won't hurt you, but if you keep running at high psi, you'll eventually have a burst, and your overload will really outdo your stock suspension and cause you a problem. If you want to load more than these can handle, upgrade to the next spec or install heavier springs in your vehicle to help with load capacity. I have them, and they function properly when I follow the instructions.

It does what it should, but it's a pain to set up
4/5

Toyota Rav4 model year 2007. They work well once they've been installed. It would be a good idea to have a right angle connection exit the air bag. The tubing must form a loop beneath the suspension, which may become snagged while off-roading. I'm used to working on cars and have strong hands, but working through the springs takes a long time and a lot of effort. In order to get them in, it's almost worth sacrificing the suspension. They are well worth the money, but installation will be difficult.

It was not an easy task to install the 2015 Toyota Rav4! I estimated that I spent 2
5/5

I spent 5 hours on the first side of the installation and was extremely frustrated. After that, I removed the coil spring and lowered the swing arm. Even so, it's not simple. It took me 34 minutes to complete the next side. The spring can be removed by removing two bolts. This appeared to be the best course of action. I think I could do it in an hour now that I've done it this way. I'd like to put the fill valves in the engine bay, so I'll either have to buy more hose or use a T fitting and only one of the fill valves. The bags are a perfect fit for the coil springs.

Reliability is important
5/5

These tiny air bags are fantastic. I bought them for my 2015 Toyota Rav4 because I was towing a trailer that was too big for it. With 50 psi, I drove from Washington to Kentucky and performed flawlessly. It comes highly recommended.

Toyota Rav4 owners will love it
4/5

My vehicle is a 2011 Toyota Rav4 with a V6 engine and towing package. When the Rav4 is loaded with camping gear and the popup is connected, the Rav4 sags a little, not much, but enough to bother me. br>br>I bought these airbags and attempted to install them myself for 30 minutes before giving up. I had to take them to a local repair shop, where they fixed them in under an hour. To get the springs to stretch enough to slide the airbags in, they had to remove the wheels and some of the suspension parts, which took 5 hours. br>br>This weekend, I drove the Rav4 with the popup and it was perfect. There will be no drooping any longer. It wasn't bouncy at all when I had them set to 25 pounds of pressure. When I'm not towing, I keep them at 10 lbs and they're barely noticeable in the back. When the springs rub against the rubber on the airbags, they make a small amount of noise, but only when driving slowly and with the windows open on a bumpy road.

It's a pain to set up, but once you're done, everything is fine
4/5

The instructions were brief but sufficient. I followed their instructions to the letter until it came time to put the bags inside the coil springs on the car (2010 Toyota RAV4 Sport). The air bags had to be rolled up to a diameter of about 2" before being pushed up into the coil spring, which was difficult. The air bag didn't like being compressed so tightly, but I eventually got it rolled tight enough to fit into a piece of 2" hard-walled plastic pipe, and then used the pipe to feed the bag through the bottom of the spring perch until it was in place on the car. It was all downhill from there. br>br>It works great and keeps the trailer hitch (for our three-wheeled trailer) in place. I wanted to keep my bike rack from dragging in my driveway. The mission has been completed, and so far, everything has gone well!.

This is incredible
5/5

They've been used on a variety of vehicles. The car is no longer at its lowest point. I installed the same type of airbags in several other vehicles, though the sizes were different for each one.

Load levelers are devices that help to evenly distribute the weight of a load
5/5

They worked great on my 2017 Rav 4; I just returned from a 3000 mile trip with my luggage loaded, and it handled like it was empty with only 30 psi. br>Install was a little difficult, but possible.
