These looms were purchased to replace an open wire set on my coupe that has been there for more than 20 The covers have a very close fit with the valves. In order for the plug wires to clear the headers, I had to shorten the bottom half by 1 inch. Additionally, as noted in a previous review, the mounting bracket has a hole smaller than the studs on the valve covers. Therefore, if you are unable to modify parts to make them fit, building this car could be a challenge. I am very pleased with these and would recommend them to anyone for the price.
Although the aluminum spark plug wire loom that holds the spark plug wires itself looks nice, is polished and would dress up any motor, it is best not to rely on them unless you can mount them yourself. Wire loom mounting brackets are very thin and will bend if they are mounted too close to valve covers. They were made of aluminum that was too flimsy and the mounting holes were too small to allow the bolts to pass.
