It has an outside diameter of 3/8". The ID is 5/32". As it is a split loom, I took up the slack prior to I believe it can be a bit compressed or expanded both ways, with just a bit of flexibility.
Apparently, there are no metals in the tubing. When you look around, you'll find this is about 1/10th the price of stainless steel, if you can find it.

I think it is a plastic wire loom painted chrome in color, so what else could be expected? It works and looks nice for now, but who knows what the future will hold? You only need a screw driver or a small putty knife to install over wires - and good scissors are all you need. A lot of people really like how it.
I like the look of this but I find it too stiff, difficult to work with and does not look good with black covering. A final criticism would be the price, I think it is too high.
Does the job, but the outer diameter is closer to 1/2 inch than 3/8 inch. It would have been better to order 1/4 inch for my needs. Furthermore, it seems that the outer chrome material that wraps around the black plastic loom might be metallic or conductive. You might want to ask the seller if that is the case if you intend to use this around circuit boards.

The cracks appear when cold plastic is used.
These chrome ones were bought to cover up the wires in my classic car engine bay, but in order to also give it a sleek look, I chose silver. The belts have been on my car for a long time and are still going strong. Unlike some other chrome finishes, this one does not flake off like others and has a very good shine to it.
