Would you think this would be a good way to keep my cat from nibbling my expensive and enticing PC ?

Probability isn't very high. In any case, it looks like daily wireloom, not heavy duty plastic, and if the cat chews through that, the cat would also end up eating it as well. You may want to try corner molding or hard plastic wire hiders similar to what is used for surround sound systems if the computer is in a corner.

It looks a whole lot better than old, dirty wires, and it provides a little bit of protection as well. This is an easy to use tool. Should I need to purchase again, I will do so.

These borderline transparent ones are horrible

There is no way these cables will be heat resistant or tolerant of the intense heat the engine puts out and since they are virtually transparent, I should have known better than to trust products from Spectre.
