Not in the least. Put green wire on the coil's negative side and you're ready to go.

What is the size of this? What dashboard do I have on my 93 Civic?

In my foxbody, it looked great. The dash is about the same size as the tachometer, which is 4 inches long.

I was let down

Tach was bouncing all over the place. I double-checked all of my connections and found that there was no problem with another tach. This brand seemed to me to be superior to this one.

The light bulb in the shift light has blown out! Before sending it back, double-check it

The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because I received a blown shift light bulb. The shift light would not work, despite the fact that the installation was simple. After some investigation, I discovered that a blown bulb had been installed in a brand new shift light. It was as good as new after spending a few dollars on a two-pack of replacements. It's not a major issue; it's simply inconvenient and time-consuming. The tach is incredible in general. It appears to be of excellent quality and performs as expected. I would purchase this item again.
