I wouldn't go much higher than 5 grand on the rev limit; the red on the rpm is there for a reason. I've been playing with this tuner for over a year, and that's probably the best I've managed to get out of it. You can do more on newer Dodges, such as tire sizing and shift points, but as I mentioned, advance the timing a little and use high non-ethanol fuel to notice a difference. I know this isn't the most recent model, but I needed something cheap and that could turn off my truck's MDS. I purchased this in fair condition, and they promptly delivered it to me; they even printed out the user manual for me, which was a nice touch; the programmer works perfectly and is in excellent condition. I installed it on my 2006 Ram and got rid of the MDS, as well as adjusting my speedometer for my tires and tuning it to 87 octane. My truck is running better than it has in the past, and I am getting an additional 2 miles per gallon. Definitely a good investment.

I awoke my 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 with 5. I used the 87 octane tune and changed the tire size, which changed shift points and accurized my speedo, according to my butt dyno. Is it possible for my truck to rip the doors off the latest muscle cars, sports cars, or ricers? No, but it does make driving a little more enjoyable; I can't comment on the alleged MPG increase because I can't keep my foot off the gas pedal. I went with a used option because it was less expensive.

PERFORMANCE is the key word

My Dodge Ram 1500 has really come alive! I always keep it in performance mode; the throttle response is fantastic, and the oh "S" hold on is incredible. You guys who say that's terrible fuel mileage need to get out of Iowa. I live in Washington, where there are no flat sections of road, so you guys who say that's terrible fuel mileage need to get out of Iowa. I'm going to get a 17. On a four-hour drive, you'll get 9 MPG, and on a two-hour drive, you'll get In town, you'll get 15 miles per gallon, and in the suburbs, you'll get Four quads are being pulled by four quads in a 16-foot enclosed trailer. I didn't notice or feel any difference when I used economy or towing, so I chose PERFORMANCE.

This is the incorrect part number for Dodge Chrysler vehicles, but the guys at Super Chips corrected the error before I even received the part. 2mpg gain and more power 2004 Dodge Ram 5.

When I placed my order, I assumed it was for the most recent model. It works fine, but for $40 more you can get a newer model that is brand new. In my opinion, it is not worth saving money on something that is outdated and used.

After a year, I am unable to contact anyone regarding my tuner. Because the programmer is updated monthly, you should still be able to get tech support after purchasing the product.
