I have a marine msd distributor with the number 85806 on it. I just placed an order for this cap; does anyone have the part number for the matching rotor? The engine is a Ford 460. ?

MSD I'm pretty sure SRAM knows what rotor goes with what cap (old and new). It's possible it's on the inside; you probably already did, but it's all I've got lol.

As is typical of MSD, the quality is excellent. br> The only thing is that I've never been able to use the little wire retainer that screws on the top of the cap, which isn't a deal breaker. The coil wire gets in the way all of the time. one of the retainer's screw holes is covered.

As expected, it functions properly

A MSD Marine distributor would be a perfect fit for this. OEM MSD. This isn't a clone. As expected, it functions properly. It came with an 8467 Rotor, which I specifically requested. With a MSD distributor, the engine is a 454XL Crusader.
