I didn't use an updated module, and everything worked out fine.

Is a new coil included, or do I need to purchase one separately?

There is a coil included. However, because it was defective, I had to return it, and I would not recommend it to you.

The second one is still in the works. Guys, you're squandering your time!! When a product is delivered without parts, it's a real pain in the neck. I'm not sure if this is an Amazon or OEM issue, but it still stings. When the issue is resolved, I will update the review.

After just over 14 months and 4200 miles, I was unable to complete the journey

Even with increased spark-power, it appeared to work normally with no noticeable performance increase. filling in the gaps However, after only 14 months and 4200 miles of use, the system failed completely (with some leakage). br>br>Of course, couldn't'return/exchange' at this point and definitely NOT worth the price/hassle. br>br> CANNOT HELP BUT RECOMMEND!.

My engine has a lot of aftermarket parts, and the Hypertech Power coil Kit was a fantastic addition. With the danger on the cap, it adds some flavor, and it also has a stronger coil. It's already connected to the distributor, so there's no need to put it together.

Far, they appear to be doing a pretty good job of following the program! So far, my 1990 CORVETTE has seemed to get along with the program pretty well!
