Questions & Answers
You can definitely feel the power, but stick to what the bypertech website says; I'm running it on a duramax dually. I believe the 91 is one of the vehicles that would benefit from the adjustment.
It is not necessary to remove the fuse; it will function without it.
It's as simple as deciding how you want it tuned and responding to a few questions about how you set it up. However, the type of fuel and other factors vary by engine, but on my 3, it takes less than 10 minutes. Colorado is ranked seventh in the United States.
It doesn't stay plugged in, to be sure.

Hello, I just received my Max Energy tuner today. br>My email to tech support: Serial number 1882494 for part 32501. Many features appear to be missing. I can only change the following settings: Tire size, axle ratio, top speed, and shift points are just a few of the variables to consider. I have a 2009 GMC Yukon Denali 6 and there is no place to adjust shift firmness, AFM settings, regular or premium octane, rev limiter, or anything else. Is it possible that I received a faulty item, or is there a software update available? br>br>Their initial response was copied and pasted from the product website, and it addressed none of my concerns; I'm still waiting for a half-intelligent response so that I can take advantage of the product's advertised features.
For my 2014 Tahoe, I ordered this. I got it and plugged it in right away. This vehicle's display screen is not programmable. The 2014 tahoe 5 had a total of 32501 entries. 3 v8. So I dialed Hypertech's number and spoke with one of their technicians. When he asked for my license plate number, I gave it to him. They checked it out and discovered that it is incompatible with my Tahoe. My Tahoe isn't a limited edition or unusual in any way; it's just a regular LT model. They don't make one for my Tahoe, unfortunately. So, if the eighth number in your vin is a 0 or a zero, hypertech is a waste of time. Now let's take a look at the SCT X4, which is supposed to be compatible with that vin number. Amazon shipped quickly and provided excellent customer service when it came time to return the items.
Installed on my 2015 Silverado with a 5. 3L engine. 3br>Mpg increased by two points. The freeway has a speed limit of 5 miles per hour. It could have been better, but we were short on time and highway access. br>On the street, there is little to none. Adjusted the shift firmness to 75% and left the shift point alone
With the 6 inch lift and 35 inch tires, my truck now runs like a dream.
It fixed my speedometer for tire size, and the transmission firmness adjustment is very noticeable; on an 850 mile trip uphill, it increased mileage by about 2mpg on the Premium setting, and on a mostly downhill return trip, mileage increased by nearly 4mpg. Given that I drive 60000 miles per year, I am confident that this investment will pay off. My son spent his money on a different brand with more features, but I highly recommend it to anyone looking to boost their horsepower and gas mileage.
It was simple to reprogramme the tire size. The installation was simple after I downloaded the software update from the Hypertech website. It was simple to reprogramme the tire size. I haven't noticed much of a difference in performance, and any MPG gain is minor. Other features, I believe, will prove useful in the future. It's worth noting that you'll have to restore the factory programming if you ever need to connect a diagnostic device.
So far, everything has gone well. I can now climb massive hills in OD without having to downshift 30 times in a mile stretch because I don't have an afm. On regular, there is a significant increase in torque. Chevy should make throttle response a standard feature.
It accomplished what it claimed to be capable of. It got rid of the 4cyl crap with a little pep in the throttle.
After a 2000-mile drive, I have yet to notice any differences. Perhaps an installer error, as this would be the first time I had done something incorrectly. I wouldn't recommend it because it isn't worth the money. On the other hand, the vendor is outstanding.
