It can only be used on one vehicle at a time, but once you return your first vehicle to factory settings, you can use it on another. Two programmers would be required if two vehicles were to be programmed at the same time.
Perhaps it is. I put it in place to save money on gas. It Successfully Attracted Me 1. 5 additional miles per gallon. However, I believe there should be more. The increase in power is undeniable, in my opinion. As a result, it's possible that it'll also require a free-flowing exhaust. PS It's also a good idea to get the KN air purifier. It is more cost effective. Programming is simple. However, there is an important caveat. I was under the impression that I could program other trucks in the same way that I did mine. nope. This is a ONE-TIME OFFER. as it removes YOUR program and replaces it with Its TUNE So.
I can't say how much more power and torque you'll get, but I can say you'll notice a difference in power and fuel economy. I increased my miles per gallon by 2 to 3 percent. I'm very pleased with the outcome. I hope you found this information useful.
Yes. Cables that are appropriate for the vehicle for which they were purchased. With a manual and yes/no instructions/setup procedures, this product is extremely user friendly.

In my 2005 Silverado z71 extended cab with the 5. 9L, I just installed my new Hypertech Max Energy. It was extremely simple to set up. Prior to installing, I read through the instructions on the internet. To begin, I received an error, but the solution was as simple as unplugging and replugging the programmer according to the screen's instructions. The following tuning was added. I performed the unleaded version of the extreme regular tune. My rev limiter has been increased to 5,800 RPM. I switched to a 32-inch tire. To match my new BFGs, I'm going for a total of 25. The number one was changed. 2 shifted up 100 rpm, 2 shifted down 100 rpm, 2 shifted up 100 rpm, 2 3 shift up 500 rpm (the factory shift point for the 2-cylinder engine) 3 was 5,000, which was too low because it dropped the revs too far out of the power band after the shift), so I changed it to 6,000. 100 rpm, 4 rpm, 4 rpm, 4 rpm, 4 I decided to firm up the shifts to the 75% level. In addition, I increased my top speed to 106 mph. I kept the cooling fan set to the same temperature as before. It's difficult to say how much more power this gives you, but it's a lot more. The truck's acceleration is also greatly influenced by the shift points. The shifts simply occur at a more convenient time, are more rapid, and have a more positive impact. Surprisingly quickly, the truck achieves the new top speed. I installed a Flowmaster supertruck style cat back exhaust about a month ago, so I'm not sure how well these two work together, but if I don't slow down, wheel spin will occur. On a freeway trip, I ran some errands and got 15 miles. 5 MPG, which is about 2 mpg better than before, due to running at or near 100 for almost the entire time. However, that is clearly too short a distance to be scientific or accurate, but it is what I have. After this short time with the programmer, the only drawback I can think of is that the top speed limiter kicks in very hard, almost as if I stabbed the brakes. This was a great addition to my old Chevy for around $290. This weekend, I'll tow 6,000 pounds with it. If anything negative happens, I'll let you know.
With my old truck, I had another tuner that only caused me problems. This tuner was exactly what I was looking for! Instructions are simple to follow, and the results are fantastic right away! From the start, there was a noticeable difference in performance! br>UPDATE: After calling the company, I discovered that the tuner is only 5 months old, and that I still have the original box packaging, so a trade-in is only worth about $100. I had to sell it because the truck I bought it for broke down. Before I got rid of the truck, I had to reprogramme it. However, after speaking with the company, they have agreed to only give me $100 towards a new one for my new vehicle, despite the fact that I paid $350 for it. Due to the low value the company would place on a trade-in, I had to change the rating. If it were the other way around, and I was offered $250 or even $200, that would be more in line with my expectations.
I bought it to improve the spark because I figured that if the spark was perfect, the power and mileage would follow. Since installing, I've driven 400 miles in my pickup. In the few trips I've taken, I've noticed an increase in power as well as a 1 mpg difference. In my 1997 Silverado 2500C/K 4X4, I pull a few hills. I used to be able to pull them at speeds of 50 to 55 miles per hour. I was able to hit 60 and 70 mph this time while still getting about 1 mpg more. It will take some time to recoup my investment, but I don't mind. Because I'm not working as hard, I believe this will extend the life of my pickup.
Hypertech programmers have worked for me in the past. I could have spent more on another brand, but this one meets my needs without breaking the bank. Although the mileage remains consistent, I purchased it to increase the power. My 2004 Yukon, which has 190,000 miles on it, now drives almost like a new one. It no longer requires the hard 4000 rom downshifts and maintains its speed. This is a significant improvement.
This programmer was used on a C5 Corvette from the year 2000. I'm pleased with the programmer. Simple to set up and install. br> The mpg and overall horsepower gains/throttle response are satisfactory. I would buy it again because it was well worth the money.
I attempted to contact tech support, but all I get is a voicemail. I was fortunate enough to be able to exit the programming before my PCM was disabled. After the fact, I looked into it and discovered that people had to spend a lot of money on new PCMs and tows to the dealer.
On my 02 2500 d max, it's been installed. WOW, it runs so much better now, the trans shifts faster while still remaining smooth, I was getting about 22 pnds of boost before with a muffler delete, cold air, lift pump, and ppe boost fooler, but now I'm hitting 25 pnds with the hypertech tune. Only on the third power level does there appear to be some smoke. This is the tuner for the everyday driver who wants a little more power without destroying their truck. You've gone hypertech to a whole new level.
