I used an edge pillar mount to install my MM3 Tuner on my 2014 Ram 2500, and it worked great.
This item was purchased to go with a MM3 tuner installed in an edge pillar mount on a 2018 Ram 2500. I knew it wasn't designed for such a monitor before I bought it. I was able to make this work by removing material from the backside and bottom right corner (for the power chord) with a dremel.
However, once you've mounted the pod (which is a pain, by the way), it works great and doesn't take up nearly as much space on the dash as the EDGE website and advertising photos suggest. The CS/CTS monitor appears to protrude quite a bit in the photos, but it actually does not.
Oh well. Fits well and performs well. To keep everything in place, it simply wedges into the Pod. Although it is required, it is inconvenient to have to purchase it in order to use the Edge Product.
The new CTS and CTS2 programmers do not work with this adapter. According to Edge's website, a new pod adapter for these programmers will be available in the summer of 2016. I used a dremel tool to cut the connectors deeper to fit my Dodge RAM 2012 door sill pod just barely.
It performs as expected. It should come standard with the dash mount from Edge. I had to wait a few days to use the CTS because the Amazon representative didn't realize you needed one even after I asked when orderingbr>I had used one on my two previous Duramaxes, but I was told everything I needed was in the CTS Insight and dash mount.
