It does indeed have the terminal for a tachometer. Thanks for asking
Small blocks 350 and 400 that come with a factory hei distributor will fit
All SBCs should be able to use it. There was a version of this engine offered on the '55s. This distributor has a lower profile. I am not sure why it cannot be used in the '55. Do it, hold on to the ride, and have fun.
The diameter of this circle is 4 1/2 inches

You can't beat the price on this! There is a lot of great information here You can tell as soon as you open the package that it was well-built. The old motor had been running on a 75 K5 Blazer with what I thought was a tired 350, but upgrading the original distributor to this one has given it new life. As soon as I started the engine after installing this, I noticed that it fired right up, idled far smoother than it used to, and it seemed to be producing more horsepower and torque I spent $50 on my engine and it was the best $50 I ever spent.
When installed, it looked great and ran for maybe 20 minutes without a hitch. When put in gear, the engine idled rough and hesitated or died even after being put in gear for a while. There seemed to be a vacuum leak in my house Not at all. The top of the distributor was taken off, and the router and coil caught fire. It is very difficult to use the electronics in this way. It is not a product I would recommend.
Gasket included despite the fact that most everything was included. On Amazon, I also bought a new 2 wire power, tach feed harness that goes to this distributor - it was not included with the distributor. There's only the coil inside the coil in this case. The one-minute version It was pleasantly surprising that instructions found on the page were so much easier to follow than videos found on the internet. Marking where the old or current distributor vacuum intake was located, along with the rotor's position, made installation very Powering up at a higher level This is a nice feeling, so long as.
The package I received had to be returned. It looked like the model number sticker on the box was the wrong one because the one I got didn't appear to match the image and was about three inches longer than the one I got. My order was in the right place the second time around.
In a 1949 Ford Pickup, the unit was installed on a Chevy 327 cubic inch motor. There was a little snug fit due to the firewall, but otherwise it worked. A rape ape runs through the truck! You experience more vigor and power as it comes on smoother, sooner and faster. The distributor came in two days, well packed, and in good condition, ready for shipping. For the cable to be connected, you had to use a "pigtail".
In the year following, the modual was no longer available. It's a good price for what you get. In the year following, the modual was no longer available. I think having a spare in the glove box would be a good idea.
This is a really nice piece for the price. It is of good quality and looks good as well. Brand new, not refurbished. Comes with a gasket and Allen wrench for adjusting the vacuum The molded cap and rotor need to be better trimed before they are installed, as 4 stars is too harsh an evaluation. Presented in a nice package.
I am extremely happy with it. This product works perfectly right out of the box. I am extremely happy with it. This is so cheap that I am not sure how they make and ship them. This is the radio I used in my 78 Chevy Blazer,.
