Thanks! I have a mallory distributor with a flat cap and I need to purchase a rotor for my unilite unit. Can you tell me which part no. we are looking for? thanks, Mike C. ?

It's sorry but in general, I use the old one over the new one because the one I got from amazon was wrong. I simply did not bother to return it so I cannot help, but advise you to never throw old stuff away immediately!

Does Mallory still make the 322 rotor for the 47 series distributor? Will it fit the existing 47 series distributor shaft?

The answer to this is truly a mystery to me. If you have any questions, please contact Mallory or anyone else who owns the rights. Despite their shortcomings, they did make good products at one time. I have the MSD product to replace mine, but it has never stopped working for me. I have had this stuff on a 1972 Mach 1 since the late 80s.

Has anybody fitted a 73 jeep cj5 304 v8 with a mallory unilite distributor you can use?

I was able to use it.

The rotor and shutter that go with a flat 221 style cap have a part number. What is the part number?

Having to file off the defects on the shaft to install it was very difficult because of the poor molding.

Despite being an OEM part from Mallory, it performed well as it should. It was in excellent condition when I got it. Buying only OEM parts is the best choice.
