Use the rubber gasket provided by the manufacturer instead of the factory gasket. The seal surfaces on the front and back of the container should be bonded with RTV at high temperatures. My solution was to stick two pieces of aluminum flashing to the head side, each about 1/8" larger than the crossover port on the crossover side. I stuck these in place with Gaskacinch, then laid the pipeline on top of the gaskets, then the manifold was dropped. Technically, the crossovers are already sealed with these gaskets, so the flashing is just there to keep them from leaking as they age.

As a result, I purchased these since they were the cheapest intake set on Amazon, and I wanted a set with the heat crossovers option. As a precaution, I added two little squares of aluminum flashing across the top of the head to keep the gaskets from burning up. They appear to have sealed perfectly around those pieces, and no more carb boiling has occurred since. had boiling issues even with ethanol free fuel before, so the blocked crossovers have been a real pleasure for me. It is time to re-do the valley pan The installation is optional, but my crossovers are blocked, so I did not install it. Using 100% silicon from the hardware aisle, I sealed up the rails of the china cabinet because I saw it done in the internet. We have not had any leaks so far two weeks later.
