From what I see, the knife edge was reduced with a rough cut with a rotary file! It is as stated on the IAC ports about the knife edge. This only controls the idle circuit from what I understand, so I don't see any issue. However, I am troubled by the lack of finish work on the boards, leaving the areas rather rough in appearance. I've noticed a lot of complaints about stiff idle springs, and I don't see any problem with the stiffer gas pedal as it should somewhat wear as it wears in. I'm fine with a stiffer idle spring. Coolant hose ports are absolutely useless for me to use since the bottom one is clocked right next to my alternator for 400 dollars, I shouldn't be eliminating features on a brand-new part that is rendered useless and poor cooling port placement! In my opinion, the system in the throttle is cooled by cooling water I am of the opinion that a body is for cold climate applications and not required in the Pacific Northwest, however I could.
The product did not live up to my expectations. There are a lot of issues with this This is *1/1. A leak was found in the top radiator hose port as soon as it came * ** 2. Thirty-three days after it was first installed, the throttle spring broke. 1. 2. 3. There is too much tension in the spring. For the car to move, the accelerator must be pushed as hard as possible. 4 *br The customer service was poor BKK got in touch with me three days after Amazon resolved my problem by returning I was past the 30 day return policy because the TB spring broke just after less than a month (33 days) of use. After I contacted BBK, they never answered me, so I decided to contact Amazon and they resolved the matter by giving me a one time return that was over 30 days old. BBK confirmed that I had already returned and received my money back when they contacted me. **5. * In a few weeks since I installed the Edelbrock 3881 intake, I installed this component. In comparison with the stock TB, I didn't see that much of a gain in HP. A price of $350 should be more than that. I would not waste your money on this, in my opinion. If your OEM TB needs to be cleaned or rebuilt, have it done.
To replace my 1989 Ford F-Series' original throttle body, I could not find it A 150 truck with a 302 engine is missing the twin throttle body. The auto parts stores no longer carry those parts, only aftermarket parts that need all sorts of modifications. I found this throttle body to be the perfect fit for my 1989 truck. There were slight changes to the coolant hose connections, but the original equipment was still in place. The coolant port at the lower part of the engine was too small for the hose on the cooler. Now that I have the new throttle body on my truck, it runs perfectly.
I was having intermittent problems for a while, but lately, I seem to have it all the time when it's The engine of my truck sometimes jerks and shakes while driving, and/or appears to be not firing all the time. While I used to have a lot of power when accelerating or going up hills, now I have much less, and the jerking becomes greater. I have noticed the Check Engine light flashing randomly for several months now, while driving (on a highway only). Sometimes, the light stays on for a few seconds, then goes off, then comes on again and the Additionally, sometimes it quits suddenly at a stoplight once the engine has heated up. It is not a good product and I am warning our F150 fans of that.
Initially, it arrived with a coolant barb that was easily pulled out with no effort. After removing it, it was found that the gasket had been torn up, which was apparently not done when it was installed. This expensive paperweight is not worth your money. Getting back to the.
It's a 95 F150 five. The metric system. It's a great TB that works great, but there is a slight whistle under hard acceleration because you need to port match the TB to the manifold but there is no need to do so if it doesn't bother you. I'm giving 2 stars because the upper hose connector points directly to the EGR valve and there is no space for it to be connected to the stock radiator hose. The hose ports on the stock truck are located towards the front of the vehicle. As you can see in the pictures, I bypassed the TB and connected the water pump directly to the hose. There is only one reason I can think of for why radiator fluid would flow through the transfer case those who live in icy climates to keep the TB warm. Since I live in Oklahoma, it's not an issue for me.
A Bronco plow truck with eight wheels. Back in 2001, I had a feeling that the throttle body was the issue. The model didn't exactly fit, so the other pieces had to be moved around. A drop or two is leaking at the radiator hose fitting upper end, perhaps my fault, but the engine responds well to both idle and off throttle positions, which is good. It is inevitable that throttle bodies wear out, and I would most certainly purchase another one. As I did, don't waste your time, money, and energy chasing everything else.
To accommodate, changes were made to the connections.
