In less than two months, I had a bad pump

This pump was purchased about 2 months ago, with a return window within the past week. I did not have the opportunity to test that pump as the car is in a project stage. Approximately a week after putting it to use, the pump started surging, losing pressure at the rail, and finally The pump may have been defective or it may have been a brand problem.
