It does free flow according to the Holly web site. Because another clown answered no to this question, I decided to test ours. I disconnected the pump from my boat line and put it on its own line and did it with no trouble. Due to its very good handling of gas, I believe it would also work well with diesel fuel, since diesel has fewer refining properties. I have no complaints about this pump, except that it is a little noisy.

Is it compatible with diesel fuel? Yes, it is. There is only about 30 gallons of flow per hour, so filling the tank would take a long time. An engine fitted with a carburetor is more appropriate for the application.

This was not the case with this product. I decided to give this product a shot despite the negative reviews, thinking that the source of the bad reviews could be user error. There was no way I could have been right. Even though it indicates it can deliver 7 psi in the description, in reality it is lucky to deliver one. Approximately five pounds per square inch. Buying this can cause you to get ripped off so be cautious. The one I personally have will be replaced with a quality product, and the one I have at the moment will be thrown away where it.
