If you need 600 HP, then that would not be the best choice. This is the Holley 712 that I recommend The 802-area code
Set my pressure regulator to 3 and you should be good to go. This is equal to five pounds per square inch. On the pump itself there is a psi adjustment
Honestly, I do not think there would be a problem with it. A pump for my boat is attached to the fuel tank in front of the boat and then runs back about 12 feet and up to the engine, about 2 or 2 1/2 feet above the water.
A fuse should be placed before the pump's RED wire

I just like how well this marine pump works. In my case, I utilized one fuel pump to supply fuel to two 331 Hemi Marine motors with twin single barrel carburetors. The fuel is provided in plenty for both motors until they stop flooding because not too much pressure is bypassing the floats. Using an electric pump made the engines start easier since they did not need to grind on the starters until the bowls filled when the engines hadn't been started for a while since the tanks were 40' forward. So far, it has proved to be very dependable since it is USCG-approved.
Worked out of the box, but did not work. It started when I hit it with a hammer.
The boat pump was delivered promptly and as promised. Although I have not installed it yet, it was as advertised and is as expected. The fuel problem I was having in my boat might be solved with this.
This pump does the job it is intended to do in a quiet and efficient manner. That fuel regulator isn't required is the best part about this car. Upon receiving the pump, it took only three days for it to be delivered. Installs in a few minutes.
We are glad we bought it, it works great!.
I love that it works so well.
The product I received was not what I wanted, so I sent it back.
