Questions & Answers

Is there a difference in the size of the jets?

It is now a 22 instead of a 20 with 6 holes. Several years ago, I installed a 110, but I don't recall the main.

Do you know if it would work on a Yamaha ?

A little bit much, I think. The 250 was the setting I used

How do I identify the brand of the pilot jet in this carburetor?

The drop-down menu The Hawk 250 carburetor can be used instead
5/5

This is a genuine Mikuni Take a drop-off A replacement for the stock Haosen Hawk 250cc carburetor (which is a clone of the Mikuni, except for its sealed adjustment screws). Due to its customizable nature, this carb can be finely tuned unlike the stock carb that came with the Hawk, so it is a great upgrade for anyone seeking increased performance from their engine. It is easy to install and the adjustments can be made easily. Provided by Custom The carb can be fitted with a wide range of jet sizes. Some of the best ATV carbs on the market are produced by Mikuni.

This is a must-have for the Hawk The jet was upsized from the 100 jet supplied in it to a 110 jet, allowing my bike to run much stronger wheelies, and with much better throttle response and idle control
5/5

I absolutely love this bike.

I like it much better now! My Apollo 250 came with a stock carburetor but I had to replace it
5/5

We are glad we did it, it is a lot better. The bike starts easier, runs smoother, and doesn't leak gas out of the bottom of the carb from the sticking float.

This is a Mikuni carburetor
3/5

The company I am rating a 3 star for has great reviews, which is why I gave it three stars. My exhaust shield was torn after I installed the CARB because it revved so fast it melted. A blank page appeared when the idle screw did not work. IN JUST ABOUT A MINUTE, IT RACED SO HARD AND GOT SO HOT I was afraid I was going to blow up my engine. A LOT of heat was generated so quickly that I could not believe it. THERE WAS A TRUE THREAT THAT it would blow up. I was in a panic, I didn't know what to do. As soon as I woke up, I freaked out. It was impossible for me to find the kill button or grab the water hose. After it was shut off, I waited for the smoke to clear. In order to complete my task, I must buy a completely new exhaust shield for my Hawk A new bolt set is also required. IMMERSED IN THE FRAME, THEY FOLLOW IT. A HAWK DEALER is 200 miles from where I live. My next step is to take it to the Hawk dealer to see if there is any internal damage to the engine. A LOT OF GOOD things are said about this carbon, but this one has a problem. There is a defect with it. There will be a $30 fee. I COULD TAKE TWO DAYS OFF, AFTER ALL. 00 CARBURETOR WILL COST ME HUNDREDS MORE, ALONG WITH TRAVEL TIME AND NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET, a thriller. YOU MAY NOT HAVE to deal with this.

Fits nicely on my Hawk 250
5/5

I am very satisfied with it. I can adjust needle position as well as jets as well as adjust the idle air mix, and the idle idles a lot smoother. This is a must have if you are running aftermarket exhaust. I definitely recommend it.

The replacement part for PZ30 on TBR7 is now available
5/5

Amazing how much of a difference there is! The original factory jet was replaced with a 110mm after I removed the 100mm jet. In addition to replacing the A/F Mixture Screw with an extended aluminum numbered aftermarket A/F Mixture screw, I replaced the Air/Fuel Mixture Screw. As I started, I had two turns out, and that's exactly what I left it at. This bike is just as reliable as any one of my other six. It will be interesting to see how the smoothness changes throughout the entire range of rpms. I must say that I did not have any serious problems with my PZ30 carburetor. A jet set that I had customized had the following features Despite being up in it as well, I wasn't satisfied with how responsive the throttle was or how smooth the idle was. All of these issues were resolved effortlessly by the Mikuni VM26. your time and money on the factory carb like I did, get one of these instead!.

A defect in the pilot jet caused it to break apart
4/5

Thought it was a nice carb. Basically everything seems to be of good quality, however mine came with a model that looks to be a Nokia N224. We're using the 103 pilot jet instead of the VM28/486. As I mentioned before, the extra jet in the rebuild kit was a VM28 size, with only one difference the end of a VM28's pilot jet is 2mm, whereas the end of a n224's jet is Approximately 5mm thick. When I went to remove it, some parts of it fell off, and I had to use drill bits to get the rest of it out since it was in there so tightly. It may not work perfectly as it stands now, but I'm sure it will work well once I actually get a kit that has the right jets. The carb is the source of energy. Yet I still don't understand how a jet with too wide an aperture could fit in. It looks like they are the same and that they have the same length and threads, so I guess they are the same. Apparently, the needle on the throttle plunger can be adjusted too. The idle screw seems to run smoothly and is smooth as well. There is no cap on the mixture screw, and it has Phillips head screws on the bottom, so you can easily access it. as if you might be able to attach a choke cable to the.

It is the ideal replacement carb for the 250cc TBR 7 Tao Tao
5/5

It is a clone of the Mikuni carburetor that comes on the TBR7 TT250cc. It is a direct replacement for the pZ30 stock carburetor. It has a 100 Main jet and adjustable needle as well as a complete rebuild kit as well as the ability to tune the mixture. It took me only 20 minutes to install my bike two bolts and one screw were required. There are several significant concerns about the TBR7 when it comes from the factory with an 88 Main jet. From the factory, the aircraft take forever to warm up and need to be choked Her purring has suddenly changed and she is now purring like a kitten! Well.
