I found suitable, high-quality, less expensive substitutes for Nikon camera accessories on Amazon, as well as suitable but similarly priced non-Nikon camera accessories. I didn't buy the OEM accessories for my Green Works grass trimmer, and I found unbranded third-party replacement parts for my Edelbrock carburetor on Amazon for a lot less money. Unfortunately, if the reviews for third-party, low-cost Edelbrock carburetor parts are to be believed, ALL OF THEM ARE OF LOW QUALITY. The third-party rebuild kits and other parts, according to the reviews, are missing parts and have parts that don't fit. My Performer series carb is now more than $400 new. Mine cost $200 when I bought it in 1996. I didn't mind spending around $150 for GENUINE Edelbrock parts because it's lasted this long. I ordered the rebuild kit, as well as the rod, jet, and spring kit, on Amazon in addition to this part, which I had lost. br>br>I installed the rebuild kit, checked for leaks, and reset my float heights, but it continued to run poorly. So I went to other shops and got Genuine Edelbrock parts for my carb, including step-by-step instructions. up pistons, idle screws, a step up spring kit, and the rods and jets that were already installed in my carb but weren't included in the rod and jet kit. After everything was installed, my truck ran fine for about 5 minutes until I got a bad load of gas from BP, which I will NEVER buy gas from again for the rest of my life because it wasn't the first time. BP's premium gas is water and rust laden garbage at every station in the area.

But it's a lot of money when you only need the grip clips and you only get six of the tiny things, each of which must cost 5 cents. br>I have four Edelbrock carburetors, and if you lose one of these clips, good luck finding it. It would have been preferable if the bag had contained 10 or 20 clips.
For my Edelbrock 1406 600 CFM carburetor, this was exactly what I needed. It's amazing how one small piece can be lost and the kit can save the day.
