The filter is exactly as described, and it is an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) filter. However, after purchasing, I discovered that for a few dollars more, you can purchase the complete oem oil change kit, which includes the filler, new plug gaskets, and oil. Rather than purchasing items separately, order a kit to save over half the cost.
Filters are excellent. I've never had a problem with the quality of the product or the way it was installed. I wish they were on par with other high-quality filters in terms of price.
