No. o rings that aren't attached to the oil filter br>It will arrive exactly as shown in the photo.
I've purchased a few of these over the years, and none of them have ever come with a cover gasket.
This is what I use on my motorcycle, a 650 Yamaha classic with 25,000 miles on it, and it runs like a dream.

There aren't any o-words in the dictionary. There are sealing rings included. They ought to be considered. The black rubber seal on the top of the filter is also loose and can fall off. Overall, I'm not impressed.
My bike ran better after I installed an air filter, but only while I was doing so. It appeared to be more well-engineered than the Wix filter I had previously installed. br>It has a rubber piece on the side that keeps the filter firm, whereas my previous filter didn't, and while checking the o rings for kinks, I noticed the old filter left little grains of dust/dirt. Grit in my oil is something I don't want. I'll see how well this filter filters at my next oil change, but for now, I'm happy with it.
When installing it, just set it in and make sure you line up the cap and secure it straight.
When I went to change the oil in my Vstar today, I took out this new K. N oil filter from the TAPED box, which lacked any of the three orings required. All of the old orings had to be reused. I'm going to return to the WIX filters. What a shock!.
This is the first time I've purchased this filter; it fit perfectly and was all I needed to finish my oil filter replacement. I'll return to this store to purchase another. The filter is made of high-quality materials and is designed to fit exactly like the original.
It doesn't matter how long you live because you should always change your oil and replace your filter. I would recommend it to anyone who has an xvs650, as I do.
This was purchased to replace the oil in my 2006 Yamaha 1100 V Star Silverado Classic. This filter was easy to install and does the job well. I only gave it four stars because it did not include the three gaskets that must be replaced every 8000 miles. I would give this 5 stars if they started including those, even if it cost a couple of dollars more. It's a pain in the buttocks to have to track down those gaskets or pay a Yamaha vendor a highway robbery price. br>br>FYI, this filter will only work if your bike does not have an oil conversion kit installed; if it does, you will need a different filter.
Without some serious industrial equipment, it's difficult to tell how effective an oil filter is. My grandfather taught me how to cut open oil filters and run them through a solvent bath to look for "chips," which indicated whether the piston heads were eating away at the cylinders. Well, I don't have that setup, and I haven't put enough miles on this particular filter to say whether it's doing its job properly. However, I can attest to the fact that it went in without a hitch and hasn't leaked. K is one of my favorite letters. I use N for my air filters, so I decided to try their oil filters. If my engine locks up as a result of this filter, I'll post an update. However, I have a strong suspicion that this will not happen.
