I'm the proud owner of a 2018 1200 Custom. There is a 5 Micron Upgrade option according to the Harley P/A Catalog. However, it is only compatible with newer models. It has something to do with oil line routing. Pump, Filter Engine is the newer model, while Pump, Engine, Filter was the previous Evo model. Returning to the tank from the opposite side. I've had no problems with a Bosch 3330 on my car in the last 3000 miles.

Not sure. I know that a 2002 Lexus 300 SUV has the same filter as this one.
I have no idea what year my fat bob was made in, but it fit perfectly in 2009, and I have no idea what year it will fit into in 2018.

It has a bypass that opens at 10 psi and only passes oil for the majority of its life.
On my Harley, it works like a charm. I have a Street Glide 15 and can't use the HD oil filter remover tool, so this "socket" style filter is ideal, and I did some research and discovered it has better flow than the HD one!.
"Product of Thailand" is depicted in the attached photo (hopefully). br>br>I purchased this filter based on the fact that it was made in the United States. To be clear, I have nothing against Thailand (at least it's not China), but this is not a Made in America product, as Amazon would have us believe.
It's also topped with a nut. Winner. It has a satin black finish that isn't quite glossy. It seems to be working well so far. Is it superior to a WIX in terms of performance? I'm not sure, but I'm guessing so. But it's just a filter, and guess what? It's topped with a nut! To remove the filter, no more hammering screwdrivers through it or fiddling with ineffective filter removal tools are required. That's something I wish the OEM filter on my bike had thought of.
If it won't go on easily by hand, don't force it. The threads are likely damaged or incorrect. K is one of my favorite characters. I'm not sure what happened with the N filters.
I've been doing my own oil changes for years, but this was my first time ordering a filter from Amazon. Unfortunately, no matter how many adjustments I made, the filter still leaked. There was no problem when I replaced it with one I purchased from a local store. I'm not blaming K for his behavior. I usually go with N or HiFlow, but this unit was defective and a waste of $12.
K was one of my favorite characters growing up. I've been riding my bike through the rain and the Texas summer heat (for those who say it's not as hot as it sounds). On average, there are 101 people in the class. For 7 months, there will be 105 f and 90% humidity. Yes, it works in extreme conditions (road temperatures can exceed 130 degrees Fahrenheit; I've seen roads melt here), so yes, it works in extreme conditions. There are no leaks or signs of capitulation. Get one.
This item was purchased and installed on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. I'm looking forward to the next oil change so I can see how easy it is to remove it and disassemble it to see what's inside. For the next change, I'm already planning to order a replacement that looks exactly like this. I chose the black one because it is more subtle and blends in better than the chrome.
