Questions & Answers

else had success using this filter on a Honda RSX or other honda / acura sports car?

(I own a 97 Integra R, a 2005 TL, a 2004 Pilot, and an 1989 Crx. I switched to Honda A01 filters from Amazon seller MowerPartsMan for less than half the price (each) as I was unable to see any benefit. It would be a waste of my time and money to use junky cardboard frames A02 filters for Honda made by Honda.

I wonder if the 95 acura legends have the same parts, since it appears there are three different rims and tires on each of Wheels on mine are 17 inches, and they have 3 spokes. Can it be automatic with a 6 engine?

Given that a glorified Honda car has engine codes, I would check the engine code to determine what If you know what size engine and what age it is, that should be able to go through and tell you what type of oil filter to get. have learned that with Honda Civic's I've owned in the past, both turbocharged and naturally aspirated, a lot of times you could change out the oil filters. So hopefully Are you able to provide the details of the car's engine and or year, make, and model? Is it possible to code off the filter that is on there now? Is it possible for you to get the code from that/that model? When you asked this question, I assume it may be a new car

Can you tell me the size of the filter wrench for ?

I have no filter sockets that will fit this device. These filters can be used for Honda oil filters and motorcycle oil The oil filter wrench I use for this job is an oil filter wrench. This type of type is adjustable. There are two sizes of this filter wide and narrow. Sorry, I don't know the exact size.

What do you think about this fit for an acura tsx 2007?

The OEM s2000 filter has been used in my 2006 TSX for nearly 40K miles since 2008. There have been no issues since I bought 205k miles ago. It's a K24A2 and does not have a fitment issue. This filter has also been used on a vehicle with a k20a2 without any problems. It is the best Honda filter that you can get.

For the S2000, there is only one oil filter
5/5

It's good to be a long-term thinker For anyone with experience owning a Honda S2000, then you already know that there is only one filter you should ever use on the auto. As the new owner of a used S2000, here are a few things to keep in mind There's no reason to use any other filter than this one. The oil pump in the F20C and F22C engine(s) is capable of not only generating extremely high pressures, but also pumping extraordinarily large It happens because of the primitive VTEC system employed in the engine, which essentially causes the engine to leak the equivalent of an internal oil leak. The oil pump can move more oil relative to its size when this happens, which is not what is required to lubricate a large V12 engine. Take note as well that Honda made this oil filter for only two cars the Civic and the Insight. Both the S2000 and the NSX are sports cars. A major reason for this is the pressures and volumes of the oil. Honda's other engines do not require oil pressures and oil flowing rates that are required by this engine. There is a very specific and critical component for your S2000's engine - these oil filters Especially when you are pushing your car the hardest.

If you consider aftermarket filter producers, whether premium or cheap, you will find that they all lack quality. In their product line, they essentially specify the same filter for every Honda, and the S2000 is no exception. Their goal is to create a filter that applies to all the different engine specifications, so they design one that gets in the ballpark. It's safe to say that the requirements for a Honda Accord's engine are quite different from those of an S2000's. There is no filter designed for the rigors of driving an S2000 that will hold up to the rigors of a hard-drive vehicle. Are there times when you should drive a S2000 in another way? - This filter isn't just essential for performance reasons it also minimizes the amount of data that gets moved out of the system You can tell that it's made with the same level of precision that's used in making the S2000's engine. Invest in a quality product - don't skimp At the end of the day, you will pay for it. The rule my Dad always taught me was "if you can't afford to maintain the car properly, you can't afford to drive it" Neither own it nor even touch There is something to be said for that. A cap wrench measuring 80mm is needed to torque the filter. The Harbor Freight website offers a good set at a reasonable price. Since the ones I picked up were cast aluminum, it would be a good idea to grab some 1500-pounders A piece of 2000 grit sandpaper is necessary to smooth out the contact faces on the inside of the cap so as to prevent too much paint from being removed. I have always had to back off my filter with a strap wrench), the manual states 14-inch diameter A torque rating of 7 lb ft 24-nanometer) pitch is tighter than "hand tight". Here is a recommendation by the S2000s expert on S2KI. The com (Billman) is to tighten it to *19 lb ft for track duty or for cars that are frequently switched between VTEC and regular regenerative braking. By doing so, the filter is likely to stay in place. If you cycle in and out of VTEC, or stay in VTEC for long periods of time, you put a lot of strain on the filter because many secondary harmonics and vibrations are generated as a result of In addition, if your harmonic balancer (vibration dampening crank pulley) has logged a lot of miles, you should replace it In this case, the oil pump may not be damping vibrations as effectively, which would result in additional shock waves traveling through it. As a result, the vibrations and loads can be considerably higher, leading to a quicker failure of the filter. Within a matter of seconds, your oil supply is depleted to the point that damage can occur if the filter backs off (view the oil pump description above to get the idea). In light of this, To tighten down this filter, make sure it's torqued up. Additionally, there are products available aftermarket that can be used to keep the filter from backing off. Certains have criticized the packaging of the product The way these have been shipped (and I was not impressed either) also leaves a lot to be desired. There is definitely a need for better protection for them. It is only a criticism of our packaging and shipping review, not our product The gripe of not receiving a free crush washer is even more prevalent. This is not listed as part of the product and a crush washer is not a component of this product (retail or wholesale) It is a separate part. If you purchase the vehicle at the dealership, you will pay full retail price. There is a high probability that a washer will be included free of charge. Normally, you'd have to pay at least $5 for a /100 You can crush a ten-cent washer for a penny. It is not free to get a crush washer, so please stop complaining or degrading this product because you were not given one, as nothing comes for free. You feel as if it is the only power you have in your life? And you give a product one star for something completely unrelated to it? It would be too sad if this were The things people complain about are amazing. The retail price of this filter is not included in this listing There is no other way to look at it (including for the Honda guys), so no reasonable person should expect such a handout. Buying the crush washers in bulk is all you need As if you were an actual Honda 'guy. A guy or a.

Filters listed by part number are not the same as the filters in question
3/5

Specific request for four filters (ordered by the part number). We received four substitute products made by Thai manufacturers. They do not match the specific part number or image listed on the Rather than spend so much money on the Thai filter, I would have ordered it elsewhere. There are going to be no more 15400-sized filters in stock soon, so I wanted the older filters A PCX-based network It's the 004 part number, not A PCX-based network Is it possible that both parts would The point isn't whether this is true or not. It was not a general filter for a specific vehicle (S2000), but the part number and image I saw on the website. Using a bait and switch strategy.

REMEMBER Be careful! REMEMBER Be careful! This was bought and I was about to install it when I saw that the inside was rusted! I have no idea what would have happened if I had installed it

This is unacceptable, regardless of whether or not it's genuine, or if it's been in a flood, or what.

There is no crush washer
3/5

It was packaged in a horribly poor manner. Putting bubble wrap in a package that is poorly packaged. A hard side would protect it from being damaged. Luckily, I did not sustain any damage. It has no damn crush washer, which is my biggest complaint. There was a crush washer on this particular item, so I bought it specifically for that reason. Everyone who owns a Honda knows that you replace your crush washer every time.

There is no better filter on the market
5/5

This is such a nice filter. Suitable for Honda or Acura S2000, but may also fit other Honda models. This is what I use on my Integra Type R and Integra GSR engines. Youtube videos have been covering the dissection of these and comparing them to higher Even if you spend more money on a filter, you will notice only a marginal difference in quality, and most will be worse. Here, no matter if you drive a stock car or an all out race car, you will not get wrong.

I could not use it with my S2000
3/5

A knock-off of the filter has been made. I had to return it because it did not fit the S2000. Spin-off of the spin-off Since the technician had to put on a cheapo filter since the hole was too big, he had to use a more expensive one. As soon as Covid hit, I was unable to return the item in a timely fashion. After I removed the cheapo filter, I began to spin the PCX S2000 filter on, but it was too large to make contact. I stated that the filter must have been manufactured by another company. Those who are reading this should be cautious.

This is an original equipment manufacturer It's impossible to beat the original
5/5

Other than the K&L filter, there is no other filter that compares Although I think that the oil filter is fine for regular cars, I honestly do not think it is sufficient for my car. You are pushing 9000 rpms when you are racing. It is necessary to have an oil filter that opens the bypass valve all the time. Generally, I wouldn't trust anything other than OEM, but that is just my opinion. There's a dollar difference between the K&K and this The big whoop is so big, we might as well just go to the source. Since I hate going to the dealer, ordering a couple of filters and a couple of crush washers makes it easier for me.

Honda may send you an incorrect part, so it's better to order directly from Honda
3/5

A total of two pieces were ordered In the first case, the answer was correct, in the second case, the answer was completely wrong for a different car and was only discovered after three months of oil changes.
