How often should the racing filter be serviced?

It depends on the length of your race and the weather. ie: Dusty, wet, and so on.br> The worse your conditions are, the more frequently you will need to change it. Perhaps after each race.

Is the RC a more suitable filter for everyday riding?

The RC filter is identical to the RC, except that it has a nut attached to the body of the filter end for easy removal for race use. It can sometimes make it easier to remove or install an RC model if it is installed in a tight space.

I've been buying K for a long time because it's high quality at a low price
5/5

Because of the nut on top, N oil filters have been around for a long time. You'll want to throw a match in the tank and walk away if you try to remove an oil filter from a motorcycle without that nut. These filters have the same nut for a fraction of the cost, and they appear to work fine. There haven't been any issues for me.

This filter has a nice appearance
5/5

You'll need two bikes to transport these. They have a nice chrome finish and are simple to install. They're not the easiest to work with (but then again, what smooth filter is?). Normally, I puncture them and then turn them off. I don't have a socket, and the strap wrench won't work on these. Beyond that, there isn't much to discuss. It's a filter, in other words.

So far, the most effective filters I've discovered
5/5

This filter is used on a Kawasaki Vulcan 900 motorcycle, and it is far superior to the OEM filter in terms of construction and filtering ability. Even better, they have a 17mm nut on the end to make removing them a breeze on Japanese motorcycles, which typically use a 17mm oil drain bolt, which means there are fewer tools to dig out when changing oil and no need for an oil filter wrench.

Price is too high
3/5

The filtering system is functional. I'm not happy with the price; not just this filter, but all of them are now a complete rip-off. They're the same filters as ten years ago, and for all we know, they're ten year old filters. The difference is that they used to be a few dollars, which I considered to be excessive. The price of a filter is now between $10 and $16! Surely you're joking, right? My motorcycle's maintenance has become prohibitively expensive. The cost of maintaining my engine's lubrication is ridiculous, what with the filter and the exorbitant cost of motor oil!.

If you care about it, you should take good care of it
5/5

For my Vulcan S 650's engine, this is one of the highest-rated filters; there was no discernible difference in performance, but I can rest easier knowing that this filter has a higher tolerance than all of its competitors. It's pointless to pay twice as much for the stock filter simply because it bears the manufacturer's name, especially when this filter has been tested and proven to be superior.

I used to use K and it seemed to work well
5/5

However, instead of using N filters, I decided to use these. They're one of my favorite things: They appear to work, and I haven't heard anything negative about them. I guess I struck it rich because the same filter fits all three of my bikes. I've been using them for about two years and intend to keep doing so.

Buy this! These oil filters are absolutely fantastic
5/5

The bolt nub on the end of the racing model makes it simple to remove and install. These are fantastic on my Z900, and I would highly recommend HiFloFiltros. An excellent substitute for the overpriced and underperforming K. N oil filters are available. 3 OUT OF 5 STARS.

The best oil filter for ease of replacement! It's nearly impossible to use anything other than the wrench to loosen the nut on my z650's oil filter because the exhaust comes down right in front of it
5/5

They are now as simple to use as k with these hiflo filters. n However, these filters are less expensive, and other internal reviews show that they are of excellent quality.
