This filter cannot be used to replace the 10 micron filter in I'm sure it's not the seller's fault, but this filter isn't recommended for 24 valve engines

10 micron filters are better for those engines. I tested it on my 2001 Dodge 2500 turbo diesel but nothing worked. Low fuel pressure causes the alarm to sound. This year is not compatible with the "check to see if it fits your vehicle" tool on Amazon. The tool states that it fits, it physically fits, but it is not compatible. It cost me $22 to become more familiar with the needs of my truck.
