There is a 100 micron fuel filter between the fuel tank and the electric fuel pump to keep it protected. This is a very high-quality item. It can be installed easily. An interesting sticker seals the box urging the user not to return it to the retailer and to review the instructions if there are any problems. Incredibly, there are no instructions in the box or online at Aeromotive's website, which is odd. The filter housing does have an arrow and a marking showing the direction of flow.
