Yes, I am. Similar to what you did, I did the same thing! As soon as I changed over the stainless steel 100 micron element with a paper 10 micron element, it fit perfectly.

Can this be used with E85?

The answer is yes. This is what I'm currently running on a supercharged 2014 Ford F150. In addition to cleaning it every 10 hours of use, Aeromotive recommends that you use e85 only to run it. 93 and e85 are my daily drivers and I only run the track with e85. My teeth were still clean six months later.
