All I can say is that if the number is a direct replacement, it should either fit or you should be able to return it for a refund. If the filter isn't recommended for your engine model, I wouldn't recommend purchasing it.

I've placed an order for so- OEM parts that were later discovered to be "fake" These filters are packaged as genuine Kawasaki OEM filters, but they can be "faked. " Check the item's that are stamped on the filters themselves to see if they are genuine. The "fake" ones are either not stamped, or the numbers are stamped in a different size and/or color, and the stamping is frequently smeared. The stamping is identical to the factory originals. Others may not be concerned, but lawnmowers are becoming increasingly expensive, and good filters are critical to the carburetor's longevity. The engine can also overheat as a result of poor quality filters. I hope this information is useful to you.
Fits perfectly, and I believe these are even marked the same as the original filters that came with my Kawasaki FX921V. The old ones were a little dusty, and I was doing some general maintenance on the machine, so I figured I'd replace them as well.
After ordering OEM Kawasaki filters, I was sent aftermarket filters. I was not sent what I had requested. I placed an order for Kawasaki Genuine 11013-. the number 7044 11013- 7045 filters are available. Donaldson P821575 arrived in the mail today. Donaldson P822858 is an aftermarket filter, not one made by Kawasaki. They fit, but I'm paying OEM prices for aftermarket filters; if that's what I wanted, I could have ordered Donaldson filters for a lower price. You did not get what you paid for.
