Replace, yes; Kawasaki OEM, no; it's a knockoff that doesn't even come in a box.
Yes, this filter will function; it is identical to the Kawasaki filter and has previously performed admirably. I've been changing the filter every spring for a few years now.
If that's what you're referring to, it's wrapped in wire mesh. It's been four weeks since I've used it, and it's been fantastic! I hope I was of assistance?
This filter is the one to use if you have a hose running from your carburetor to the air filter.

I needed a new air filter for my cub cadet, which is powered by a Kawasaki engine. The quality of the filter appears to be good. I changed mine at the recommended maintenance interval, but it probably wasn't necessary. I use an air compressor to clean mine on a regular basis, and the filter is capable of handling high psi air without issue. You'll be able to get away with longer replacement intervals if you do it this way. I'd suggest it. I'm going to buy more.
It's difficult to tell the difference between OEM and non-OEM air filters. Because the marketing is so good, it's easy to be duped into buying 'knock offs. ' As a result, this was a fantastic find. There's one thing I'd like to bring to your attention - They do not come with pre-cut foam. filter. Just make sure the old foam isn't thrown away. You can easily reuse it after filtering and rinsing it.
Kawasaki filters are made in the United States. The construction appears to be a night and day difference from the last one I had; this one has an additional layer of wire mesh, which will extend the filter's life. If your yard is dusty like mine, remove the filter every now and then and blow out all of the fins inside and out with an air compressor to extend the life of your filter. This one is built to last, so you should be able to use it for a long time. Simply clean it every now and then; it's simple.
I'm assuming this is a genuine Kawasaki filter, but there's no writing on it. The quality appears to be identical to that of the original. The pleats in the picture are covered by a metal screen, but this one does not have one. It did, however, come with a prefilter, despite the fact that the advertisement stated that it would not. There was no clamp as well, despite the fact that it was advertised. I'm pretty sure this is the same filter as a lot of the cheaper ones on Amazon. I'm going to save some money and get one of those next year. I paid more because it claimed to be a genuine Kawasaki, but there is no proof of this.
These aren't genuine Kawasaki filters, but they're a close substitute. I would not purchase from this company again because they do not provide tracking information and shipping takes weeks.
This is an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) product from the United States of America. This filter is made by Kawasaki. It's extremely well-made. On my mower, I replace the filters once a year, but after about 6 hours of use, I remove them and beat the dust out of them. These filters are extremely resistant to the abuse I subject them to. I've been using these filters for about 5 years now.
Manufacturer's brand, high-quality filters that outperform aftermarket filters by a long shot. I bought a foam pre filter to cover the outside of the filter element, which was my choice for maximum protection of the engine's critical internal components, which cost $2,000. Although the pre filter was not included as standard equipment on my engine, I felt it was necessary due to the dusty environment in which I work. Thanks.
It is beneficial to use high-quality materials - It is preferable to purchase an OEW to ensure consistent quality - The engine necessitates the most meticulous attention.
