TSI Volkswagens are equipped with the 17930 as the solution to drone issues. I'm not sure about other cars, since every resonator works on a different frequency.
So it seems to be the case, I wasn't expecting the canister size to be larger than I thought at the time of ordering.
If you weld it, or if you use clamps, you can do it. My front clamp was welded at the back, and my back clamp was clamped.
Unless you buy your own clamps, it needs to be welded. There is nothing included with it

I feel that the 17930s I received are well made, just as I've felt with all Vibrant products I've tried. As far as their operation is concerned, it is a little As I saw another X5 owner do, I removed the rear muffler from my 2011 X5 50i (twin turbo V8) and installed two Vibrant 1792s instead. Both an X- and a- have been added An example of pipe and H-tube A blend pipe is used to blend the sounds of both I installed one Vibrant 1141 (Ultra Quiet) and a Vibrant 1792 on each pipe near the engine to replace the leaking resonators (but this was a huge With thunderous bass on acceleration and lovely burble on downshifts and deceleration, this setup sounded wonderful, but also a little too loud almost ALL the time. Not crazy loud, but there was a lot of drone while cruising at highway speeds. Idling was loud enough to give me a mild headache, even though it didn't seem like it was The sound became much more civilized after I removed the Vibrant 1792s in the rear and replaced them with 17930s which are much larger and have a more open sound. There is almost too much civility in the world today. Drone is gone, but very few overruns at deceleration or shift down have been heard any more. Though she likes riding in her car again and isn't experiencing any headaches anymore, my lady is enjoying herself. In part two of this article, I discuss my plans to install a pair of Borla XR1 Sportsman mufflers on the front since they are moderately loud and high-quality As the 17930s help to mitigate the added sound, Borlas should be able to dampen the sound from those parts. My exhaust is now producing a nice rumble and just enough of an aggressive sound for me to enjoy both my music and the exhaust at the same time. As soon as I complete the other changes, I will let you know.
4" catalytic converter were installed on my Fiat 500 Abarth exhaust system when I upgraded it. The exhaust system ended up being very loud with a 5" diameter. Track cars that arrive at the track on a trailer sound like the kind of loud sounds you would expect. The car is used for daily driving and even though the police don't write loud muffler tickets near me, the sound causes everyone to notice my car and I also like to speed a little bit, so it would not take long before I was getting attention from the authorities. My midriff was 18" too long, so I cut it off Added this resonator to the pipe and welded it Fiat 500 Abarths don't come with mufflers or resonators from factory, so they have a loud sound when they are old. The exhaust return to the factory is only slightly louder than the startup level, which is louder than might have been supposed. In conclusion, this straight through resonator is effective without being overly.
I had just changed out the OEM downpipe on my 2015 GTI and found the sound too aggressive for my liking, so I replaced the OEM resonator with the Vibrant 17930 resonator. The muffler shop did the job in 25 minutes for $80 and I can tell you what a difference it makes. As a reward for my hard work, I have installed a Unitronic Stage 2 exhaust system with a CTS downpipe to match my OEM exhaust system. Now my car sounds It performs very well. I am very happy with it.
As the mid pipe of a tassel s type catback, it was mounted in this way. Additionally, it comes with an APR down pipe. Until the resonator was installed, it was quite loud at cold startup, unbearably loud when it was at full throttle, and it sounded like a lawnmower while cruising along. With the new driver installed, there's now a nice, deep rumble that's only just louder than the stock sound. I am amazed by how different this makes a room! Any driver looking for a quieter experience should definitely check it out.
Having this option is great for my ears. A slightly (very slightly) louder exhaust note is retained, but the head splitting drone is eliminated. I think this is a great approach. This is a highly recommended read.
There are six 6-liter Sohc batteries. This added a much more powerful tone to the song. We learned that there could be no rasp, wet dog farts, angry bees, or weed eater noises.
As you can see, I purchased this so I could swap it with my factory resonator because I wanted something louder than stock. On my 2016 Nissan Maxima, your resonator was mounted on a Stillen cat-back exhaust, a JEMIN ypipe and now with this new There is a growl that thrills me to my core, and I could not be.
