Questions & Answers

In what part of the system is the resonator installed? Are you asking about just before the axle or just before the front ?

In order to find out where you can fit the R2009 resonator, you would need to measure 18" in length. If you install it before the muffler, you will get better performance. Because of the expanded end design of our resonators and muffles, there will be a pipe required between the two units.

Can you tell me how wide the widest part of this is?

A 6" diameter body is what you see here. It was a pleasure talking with

What are the advantages of having it around when you're ?

I agree, it makes a big difference. The one that I have is on my 6 from 2017 it's on my phone. I ran a 7 Cummins and it got rid of the drone sound. Considering the new silence, it is the right decision to have the cab sitting silently.

Is the inlet on one end or the other? Does mine not appear to be ?

A taper is visible on the interior of the bevel. There is an inlet on each side of the bevels. If the exhaust is to flow smoothly over the bevels, it needs to be swept There should be no restriction of exhaust flow caused by bevels. During my conversation with the manufacturer, I confirmed it. It has been several months since I installed this resonator. Using it on my Duramax is a great experience. The drone noise is reduced to a great extent.

purchased this add-on for my 2016 F150 and it fits perfectly
5/5

I just had to cut the pipe to install it. This prevents the mbrp exhaust from being too loud. The only reason I bought it was to increase gas mileage, so I wanted it to be When I installed the exhaust originally, it was a bit too long for my taste. I ordered this add on and it fits perfectly. I had to use the clamps that come with it and cut the pipe to fit. You've made it sound great now. There is a deep sound when the car is idling, but not so loud when it is The piping runs all the way through, yet it has a wide open design.

This is a good item for the price
4/5

However, there are no instructions or an in/out label. At the time of purchase, the truck had four inches of straight pipe extending all the way out the back. I found it pretty loud when I have installed the resonator, it doesn't seem to make much difference in the tone at idle, however, I can hear myself talk a bit better while under I've read of people installing them either way since there is no "in" or "out" marking on either side of the resonator. As for mine, I placed it so that the resonator would catch the sound(you can confirm this when looking inside) before installing it, so it would be as.

The information I was searching for was provided
5/5

My 2004 is now equipped with this exhaust and a new 4 inch MRP exhaust. Dodge ram 3500 cummins with 5 litres of diesel. The sound is perfect. It makes sense. Noise in the cab is minimal and there are no drones. Prior to the silver line exhaust, I had one. This music is way too loud for someone driving every day and for their It will give you a greater enjoyment of hunting and fishing trips.

Assaulting drones with a gun
5/5

About 40% of the drone noise is quieted down. The exhaust I run on my F-150 is a 4" Heartthrob It takes 150 ecoboost to get 100.

that the drone has been removed, I can hear others talking to me again, and it still sounds nice without it
5/5

After driving my diesel truck with 6" dual stacks behind the cab for a few long drives, the drone finally got to me. that the drone has been removed, I can hear others talking to me again, and it still sounds nice without it. I am very satisfied with the product. Apparently, resonators can be installed either way, but I opted to install mine with the openings in the front this is probably slightly quieter, but exactly got me the result I wanted.

I am disappointed
3/5

The MBRP company as a whole has disappointed me. Make an exhaust for 6 but not for 7. With the horrible drone that comes with it, you get a 4.
