The 1/4 inch
You asked a great question. Thank you. There is no delete with the Walker 54227. It is just a tail pipe that hooks up to the muffler.
You are welcome to contact me. A Walker 54227 Tail pipe would fit over a 2 inch pipe if the pipe is the right size. With the 150" OD pipe on the muffler you can clamp it on, although if it does not fit over the pipe that emerges from the muffler it will either have to be welded or the pipe will have to be modified.
Models with unlimited capacity are not included in this pipe.

This fits me perfectly, and I'm actually stunned by how well it does. It fit into both hangers perfectly, and it slid right into the Dynomax Super Turbo muffler I purchased. I was done with an exhaust clamp in a matter of seconds. Yes, of course. Not only is the rod quite reasonably priced, but it's not going on a hot rod so we're not talking about stainless or mandrel-bent. If I don't crush it or rust it out, then it will last until I do. Now that it is tolerable to drive around, it will get better soon. When I got it, it just had a turndown pipe attached to an inferior muffler. My purpose in getting the super turbo was that people said they were I didn't notice a lot of difference, but routing the exhaust the rest of the way to the back of the vehicle with this pipe made the world of I am surprised that something this cheap can fit so.
There is enough clearance over the axle just like the OEM, and the hangers line up well. In my case, I matched it to a Walker 18978 muffler and a 2-1/4 inch pipe Muffler clamp in 1" size. As expected, this product performs as expected. As I had lobbed off six, I would like to say thanks. I did not like the length of the tail section and would cut 1/2 inch off of it. In addition to painting it high temp black paint, some reviews mentioned that it would reduce rusting. My overall impression is that this section of DIY mufflers is satisfactory.
Built to OEM specs and constructed with extreme care. I installed it directly into the void next to the original OEM tailpipe that I removed, right down to the grommets that secure the muffler hangers to the tailpipe. The kit does not come with extra grommets, so if you don't have any on your Jeep, you will need to order those separately. It only takes a little welding to get you going. The sound from this pipe sounds fantastic when connected to a Flowmaster Muffler. It is definitely better to have the exhaust with the downpipe than just the muffler. Even with an aftermarket muffler, I did not experience a lot of vibration or extra sound. As a bonus, I opted to paint this tail pipe with heat sensitive paint so I don't have to worry about the rust that was causing my previous tail pipe to rust. I'm pleased with my purchase.
My 2001 Wrangler 4 was a perfect fit with this mounting bracket. I find 0L to be perfect. There were no problems, the part was of good quality, and it was It's important to note that the Jeep's muffler is relatively new, made of stainless steel, and I was careful while installing not to crush the clamp connecting the exhaust pipe to the muffler. I found that it was easy to take off the old tail pipe this way. You may find installation difficult if you are using an OEM muffler or if it was installed by a muffler shop simply because getting the old TP off could be a hassle. Although it was a perfect fit in every way, the pipe itself had a few flaws.
My 1997 2 had an exhaust that was exactly like the stock exhaust. This Jeep Wrangler is a 5L. My old exhaust was removed, and the new one was installed well. Additionally, you will need to purchase replacement hanger isolators. A video of it can be seen here.
There is no better deal from Amazon Warehouse than this one. Spray it on with high gloss I applied temp paint to my 97 TJ Wrangler and it fit right in. That Amazon Warehouse is great! Man, I love that place!.
The mounting bracket fit perfectly on my 2002 Wrangler, and it was very easy to install by feeding the bracket over the rear axle from the back. Having read other reviews, it sounds like this is going to rot pretty quickly, but I anticipate it getting smashed by a rock before the rust becomes an issue. I don't have much more to say about this product, other than it's nice and cheap and fits well.
If they say it fits, then it does. Well, it seems to fit. We had no problems with the installation at all.
