I have updated Two months turned out to be the life of the device. - (March 4 The 28th of April. My exhaust began to rattle recently. The entire pipe is free floating, as I checked it today! Several of the clamps are broken and the metal pipe is broken all the way around. It's getting easier and easier to get the clamps off, but they're so rusted they won't come wrapped my pipe in heat resistant woven The result is a bare metal application that is almost certainly going to last less time. 1) I can imagine how this would feel for others if the car fell off the highway at random. It has a flexible design that can be customized based on your needs Pipes do not replace the parts they are intended to be used to Even when I clamp both ends and bring it over my knee, it barely flexes. When it bends even slightly, it is only slightly bent. My entire exhaust system won't be vibration compensated so I don't know if this will work at all, or if my bushings will be broken. The clamp that comes with it is also only one. If you want another, but the clamps do not include lock nuts. (These clamps + vibration = Your exhaust blowing apart while you are 1) I recommend band clamps with screws. As a whole, I would advise you to steer clear of On the other hand, if you have a broken exhaust and are on a budget. It is just a matter of clamping on the replacement part.
It was very easy to use for repairing a pipe that was missing on my Jeep. Besides using a tailpipe/muffler sealant, I also used a waterproofing compound. This is good news for me. In my opinion, it should come with two clamps, but I knew from its description that it did not come with two.
The remedy worked for a short period of time, but after a month or so of using it I noticed that the clamp that came with it (it comes with one clamp, by the way) had broken a hole in the pipe, creating If there are no other options, use it only if it is the only option you have. I ended up replacing it with a factory flex pipe shortly after installing it.
There are so many flimsy parts to this stuff. It is impossible to reduce the product to the size that you need without unraveling the entire material. To the point where I just threw both pipes out due to metal pieces falling off the pipe. It was Nickson Universal flexible exhaust pipe that came to the rescue and worked better than ever before.
After installation, two weeks after it was installed, it began rusting. This cable fell apart after a year and a half and was only good for temporary use.
Although it was a hassle, it was still worth it. I guess for what it is, it's OK. There is no need to worry it is what it is and the description is accurate. I haven't used it but it is what it is.
This was OK for about a year before it started to corrode and fracture.
The item did not stretch to the advertised length despite it being advertised as a generous size. Almost made it work, but one side wasn't biting as much as the other.
