Vibrant 1147 Streetpower Black Flat Oval Muffler, 20 inches

It was installed using 3" of stainless piping, this product, and a Vibrant 1142 Ultra Quiet Resonator 3". I like the car to drive now, it has a lot more power, although I have to give up on the amount of drone and vibrations, LOL. The reason I thought a straight through muffler could be good enough was my own mistake. There is a low tone in the exhaust tone and it is bass-driven While I was standing behind the car, I could feel it in my chest. While there is a bit of rasp, the overall tone is quite nice. According to a spectrum analyzer app, peak sound levels are between 75-80 dB. A frequency of 115 Hz is used. My recommendation would not be to use this on a daily driven car without additional resonators, for example. The Helmholtz principle. *edited to say The volume of the exhaust has thankfully settled over the course of 5,000 miles. Even though a drone is present, the whole experience is completely different now. I am surprised at how quiet it is when idling now that it isn't as loud and the floor no longer vibrates. In idle or cruising mode, the tone remains deep and low, but it is not as loud. My star rating has been changed from 3 stars to a 5 because while my exhaust is still quite loud by any standard, it's hard to believe it's not louder considering it's a 100% "straight through" exhaust (no baffles inside). There is a lot of work being done by these mufflers, and they do a great.

In a nutshell, This is a very well-built exhaust system. Having it installed on my 2017 Jetta GLI 2 from a local shop was hassle-free. A 3" Catless downpipe and vibrant resonator are included with the 0T. There was a lot of cabin drone on the highway, and it was pretty loud. As a result, I finally made the switch to this muffler and could not be happier with the exhaust note and volume it now had. Anyone who has a similar setup of a VW or Audi might find this small WOT pull useful.

Using this on my ek sedan that I kswapped, it sounds significantly better than the muffler that I bought on eBay, and a lot cheaper too, so I also purchased the Vibrant ultra quiet resonator. I think this is the best set up for eliminating drone noise, this sounds almost like what my friend's set up with his tuned turn down muffler sounds like. I am satisfied with my purchase overall. This book is highly recommended for anyone who has a K swap!.

My K was horrible this was great Tip measures 4" on a tuned muffler. It's much better to have this canister for noise absorption.

I like the tone of your voice. The exhaust system was purchased for my 98 civic hatchback with a full 3 inches of exhaust. As well as magnaflow resonators, I have a reverb. There is no raspy sound to this muffler, rather it has such a deep tone.
