There are two and a half inches in diameter. It is also the first time I have seen the size. My search for the part number on the internet led me to it before I purchased
There is no exception to this rule. It might be possible to have it fitted at most muffler shops.
With my 05 Silverado it worked fine, but without my flowmasters I do miss them. They sound better on GM trucks, in my opinion.
There are two pipes attached to this one. It has an inner diameter of 5". The TL I don't have is the same as mine. It is possible to add a reducer at each end to be able to match what you already have if needed.

In a nutshell, There is no doubt that these mufflers are great. A 2017 Mustang GT is equipped with these rims. Originally, I had a muffler delete and an H pipe on the car and it was way too loud, so I went searching for a short muffler to go right behind the tips to try to cut the sound just a little. These worked perfectly for me.
This dynomax sounds a lot better after the middle muffler was deleted. It has a deeper growl at about 2,000 rpm. A 3k rpm range is available. While driving on the highway and under normal conditions, you are barely aware of the drone. When the engine is running at WOT, you only really hear it at low rpms. I also have a CAI and a Jpipe installed on my TL. By combining all these into one, a lovely deep tone was created.
On my 07 Liberty, I installed it a year ago, and the sound makes people turn heads without being overpowering. Every time I get into my Jeep, I have people asking what I have in it. When I used to have a Flowmaster Super 44, the drone inside was uncomfortable at highway speeds. There is a small amount of drone with this model, but it is only 10% of what the Flowmaster does. I paired it with a cold air intake and had the ECU reprogrammed and it sounds incredible.
It will only become loud when you wish it to. For my 2008 Acura TL type S, I used this product. In the dynomax pipe there are two sections. My device doesn't fit my 2 in. adapter, so I bought an adapter at auto zone. This pipe is 25 inches long and I installed it in place of the resonator. I also deleted the mud muffler. It's exactly what you want. It will only become loud when you wish it to. Certainly sounds like a nice exhaust system, and I can tell there's a bit more power and airflow.
It always receives compliments! Likewise, the material is of high quality.
I installed this resonator in my 2008 Acura TL Base and it sounds awesome! It has a pleasant exhaust note that isn't cheesy or too loud. The TL deserves a little grunt, so let's give it a little it pays off. An exhaust shop in my neighborhood installed it for me. The TL pipes are 2 in number, so it did require two adapters. There are two resonators on the 25" and two on the It comes with 5 screws, which you have to keep in mind if you're.
It won't be quiet, but it won't be too loud to bother the neighbors. The sound you get for your money is amazing. I recommend this product to everyone without exception.
In a nutshell, As far as I know, I was the first person ever to hear this resonator on a base-model TL in 2007. Over this piece, the sound is not too loud but not too quiet. It has the perfect level of rumble that may not be noticeable in the public eye, but is noticeable if you are in the vicinity. Additionally, there is not a single drone in sight. With this mod, you can really improve the sound of the base model TL. The exhaust I used for this setup is a 3rd stage.
