Steel made from aluminum
The clamps worked like a charm. I built it as instructed and had no issues. For no other reason than to complete the job, I tack welded the pipe connections into and out of the mufflers. On the outlet pipes, we did not do anything. The problem has been solved. My front system is powered by a 496 big block, sounds great!
Based on my experience with a 69, I have used this system. It is highly unlikely that will happen since the 79 body style is very different from what it is today.

An easy assembly process is involved. Be sure to line up your rear to front pipes and cut your front pipes to fit the angle and distance that you need for headers. For my application, I used the muffler hanger set designed to fit a newer year because it seems to function better than the one made for my year. Therefore, we say that trial and error is the best solution, and to measure twice, Repeat the process of heating them up a few times and then tightly tightening them again. It was easy to assemble my 4 post lift since I have a 4 post lift. I found it to be a good fit for my needs. As far as I am concerned, I would recommend this system to everyone. This should be of some assistance.
I find this system to be very good Installation is relatively simple for someone who wants to do it themselves. However, a very important piece remains missing for the installation to be completed. did not come with a reducer. It wasn't until I opened the box that I realized what was happening. It took about two weeks to complete the order since they were ordered separately. Unless you are a welder, you will also need to pay someone to weld the reducers onto the pipes in order to connect to the headers. Please notice that these Reducers aren't included with the system when ordering or make sure it's clearly stated that they aren't included. If this information were available ahead of time, I would be able to avoid finding out after the box is received when it is inspected. The system sounds even better than it does in the description, so it still sounds like a very good system.
Perfect! I was looking for something like this. Exactly what I needed for my 72 Chevelle. I used a car lift to install it, which took about 3 hours. This is a simple and straightforward way to do it A clean environment. It's great to hear how much power has been gained.
I put this on my 72 Chevelle SS and it fit great! The hangers from previous years are even sent as extras! I found the directions to be easy to follow, resulting in a smooth installation. Although the sound isn't ignorant, as someone who likes to hear the rumble of the exhaust, it still has a lot of tone, it sounds great!.
The sound is great.
It fits well and the instructions are easy to understand.
This was installed on a 65 Chevelle equipped with a 350 V8. I really like what you have said! There was an issue with installation as I used the wrong mounting bracket as per the instructions. The Flowmaster team helped me solve the problem over the phone. The bracket for an M67 was too small so I had to use it This is a 1972 Chevrolet.
I liked the fit and look of the system, and it went together easily.
