Hello,br>This is a universal flange repair kit that can be used on two (2) different types of flanges. pipes with a diameter of 25 inches If you're lucky enough to have a two, you're in good shape. It should be usable as needed with a 25-inch pipe at the connection point you're looking to use. Keep in mind that it isn't vehicle-specific, so it might need some tweaking to fit your needs.
The 36131 is a universal flange repair kit that may need to be customized to fit your specific vehicle.
The diameter of the muffler pipe must be determined.

These things work great, are simple to use/assemble, and save you money on repairs. br>br>The only caution I would issue, and it has nothing to do with the product itself due to the fact that it is universal fittings, is to double-check your old hardware/spring bolt kit before purchasing. The neck of the spring bolt that fit the yr/make/model wouldn't fit past the threads depending on the install direction/flange replacement you're replacing (I had to use one for both sides of pipe, downstream of cat). To fix your vehicle, you may need to look into different flanges or hardware options that work together. I needed to finish the job as soon as possible, so I drilled larger holes in one of them to fit the neck through, which was not an easy task given my lack of tools.
It fit and functioned perfectly on a rusted-out flange on my 2001 Highlander intermediate pipe. I had to run to the hardware store, though, because the flange only came with nuts; I'm guessing there were supposed to be bolts as well, but they were missing from the picture.
After doing some research, I decided to buy this product because I couldn't get the rusted studs on my catalytic converter to come out. I cut the wings off the flange, clamped this on, and bolted everything down tight, saving me hundreds of dollars that a shop would have charged.
On my wife's Honda Pilot, I used this along with the 36130 flange repair kit to secure the down pipe and catalytic converter. br>br>It didn't have to be perfect, but it didn't have to be. I chose these instead of removing the pipes, cutting off the old flanges, and welding the pipe back together because the flange on the downpipe had rusted through. They had enough room to reach each other OVER the flanges that were already in place. Because the bolts were too short, I secured them together with 3 1/2" bolts with the same thread pitch and a set of washers and nuts. br>br>With the Walker crush ring type gasket, it worked perfectly.
The Walker 36131 Hardware Flange Repair Kit was designed to work with two (2) different types of flanges. It was supposed to be 1/4" OD pipe, but it turned out to be more like 2-1/2" OD pipe. 1/2". I spent around $70 on two flanges, an exhaust spring bolt kit, and an exhaust gasket. 00 to re- My Ford Ranger's catalytic converter was attached to the exhaust pipe where the flanges had rusted out. I had to drill larger holes in the flange on the converter side in order for the spring bolts to fit properly. Because it was a direct fit converter, the local muffler shop quoted me a price of more than $900 plus tax and labor. I'll save over $800 by doing it myself once I get the proper Flange repair kit.
On my 2001 Dodge Ram with the 5. 9 engine, the exhaust flanges had rusted away. These repair kits were perfect for my 2L engine. They are also thicker than the factory flanges, so I anticipate that they will last longer.
This is a fantastic product.
This was used to replace an exhaust manifold that had rusted out. Instead of replacing a large portion of the exhaust system, a pipe flange could be used. So, for less than $20, you get a lot more bang for your buck than if you $1000.
