Questions & Answers

Is this suitable for a 2-person household? What is the diameter of a 1/2 inch pipe?

This is for a number two. Tube is 5 inches long.

What are the inside dimensions of the flange? I have a 2 inch pipe that slipped over the flare, and the one I bought at the store was 2 1/2 same pt. ?

I believe it is stated in the description that it is 1. 8 inch. Another option is to purchase three flanges and cut them down to resemble the Flange Repair Kit. Alternatively, cut a flange to fit around the pipe and then weld it back together.

Is this going to work with a two-bolt exhaust system?

This is for a three-bolt flange, not a four-bolt flange.

Will this fit a 2004 Saturn Vue that is in good condition?

Taking it to a muffler shop will save you time and money.

Poor fit and finish, as well as a lack of quality
3/5

I wish I could give this product a 5 star rating, but it was a poor fit with cheap bolts and nuts. br>The actual arms with holes in them were significantly off, as were the actual hole placements. I double-checked the pipe's diameter, and it was indeed the correct size, but the design was simply inadequate. The equipment was shabby and of poor quality. I ended up having to weld new bolts onto the flanges (exactly what I was trying to avoid) before squeezing the exhaust into place. br>br>Overall, I recommend that Walker take a closer look at the design of this item, as it could use some work.

By using this kit, I was able to save some money
4/5

Due to the incorrect thread size, the bolts could not be used, so studs and nuts were purchased from an auto supply store. There were no spacers used in this project. O. Springs There wasn't enough room to get my hand between the pipe and the frame on the manifold, so I couldn't put it together. You could tack weld them together after putting them around the pipe, but I used epoxy to keep them together. They were used to connect the exhaust pipe to the manifold on my 1991 S10 blazer 4WD. By not going to a muffler shop, I was able to save money.

Repair that is simple and effective! My old truck's exhaust had essentially fallen off due to several broken exhaust bolts
5/5

I bought these repair kits instead of trying to replace bolts by drilling them out in a confined space. They did an excellent job. The truck is now silent, and no one is looking around to see what's making so much noise. The kits fit perfectly and were not difficult to install, even when doing both sides. Anyone who needs work done on their exhaust system should contact them.

The flange turned out to be an excellent choice
5/5

On my 350 Chevy truck, the flange performed admirably. The studs were in good shape, but the flange and nuts had rusted away, and I couldn't use the nuts that came with the flange on the exhaust studs because the threads were different. I used the studs that were already in the exhaust manifold instead of the bolts that came with the kit. I had to file the bolt holes out a little to get it to fit, but it wasn't as bad as trying to get a single piece flange on the exhaust, so I've included pictures and a video to show you how it looks. I used the 2 1/2'' 3 bolt on my 1996 Chevy truck. The pipe would be cut and a single piece flange would be installed at a cost of $75 at the exhaust shop. It cost me $20 to complete.

The flange did exactly what it needed to do - it worked perfectly
5/5

Help me reassemble the broken exhaust on my 1999 Cavalier at the Flex Pipe; the problem wasn't with the kit, but with me getting the pipes to stay in the right place during assembly! Overall, once everything was put together, it worked perfectly.

Replaced broken bolts in the manifold on and it worked perfectly
5/5

On a 350 Chevy truck, it worked well to replace bolts that had broken in the manifold. It saved my life. With this, you won't have to drill out the old bolts.

Good product; however, it hasn't worked for me since I ordered it because the flared part of the exhaust was rusted, but this isn't the product's fault
