I'm attempting to connect the flange seat and the clamp, but the clamp is too small. Is a seat necessary with this flange?

It's still necessary to have a seat. The inlet side of a 44mm tial WG requires this flange.

This isn't for 38MM v-neck v-neck v-neck v-neck This adapter is only for 44MM v-bands and is not compatible with 38MM v-bands

Description of the product is incorrect

Although the part is of good quality, it was described as having a "40mm flange" when the "flange" is actually 38mm and the "v band" is 40mm. They got it to me quickly.
