As you can see in the picture, it only includes the clamp for connecting the two components.
The install was reinstalled There is nothing but the factory intermediary pipe on the drivers side. I was bummed out about that when I got the kit, but it all bolted up fine. The tow package included the spare tire for maneuvering the rear pipe into place, but it was much easier to drop the spare tire than it was removing the tow package.

Once the Borla fitting was installed, they were fused to the nuts. Once that was done, the Borla had no problem fitting into place. Not much more was required of me than to drop the spare out of the way. If you want to connect your cat to your y-pipe, you will need your own bolts (4) and gaskets (2) There are connections between pipes. The gaskets I used were as follows The bolts I used were Toyota original equipment bolts Locking bolts made of nylon that are specifically designed for As far as I know, I bought them from the wrong part of a website and paid too much, so I won't disclose any more details! I really like the sound! It is not as loud as stock, but it is definitely throatier. Although even my wife was concerned it would be too loud, she thinks it's better than she anticipated. I'm very satisfied with the quality of the product, everything fit perfectly, even Despite its pretty chrome design, the tailpipe isn't much visible, but that's fine, since it's less likely to nick against something off-road. Borla also makes for a few extra inches of clearance under the car since it isn't nearly as bulky as the stock exhaust. As well as the awesome window stickers, they throw in a nifty looking hat for free, which I never wear, but it's a nice way to trick people into advertising their brand. The Borla sound and million mile warranty makes it more expensive than the alternatives, but I like its sound. I also feel like the engine has a bit more pep. This isn't that dramatic, and I may just be insane, but after dropping $700 on a piece of clothing, it does take a bit of convincing to make you believe you need it. My overall rating is 5 out of 5. I think a more reasonable price would be.
The stock OEM was replaced by the previous owner of the truck with cheap Midas crap that cracked. This Borla has been substituted for it. My 99 LX470 was installed without any problems. The build quality is good. Guaranteed to last the same length of time as the original equipment manufacturer. A deep tone can be heard coming from the exhaust. When I started it, there was a nice rumble This car does not drone on highways as much as I feared, so that is a good thing.
The stainless steel is of good quality. The exhaust is much lighter than the factory exhaust. It is also much quieter! It is barely louder than stock, which is always a good thing in This model has a decent tone to it without any drone when cruising. This is not the video game you are looking for if you are looking for aggressive V8 rumble. The muffler works very well if you are looking for a quality stainless pipe replacement for the factory one.
I like that idea! With positive effects on acceleration as well, this wouldn't be a bad idea.
Recommend this product for its excellent quality of pleasant sports sounds.
My 2003 Lexus LX470 has this installed. The removal of the old exhaust took far longer than the installation of the new exhaust. The new exhaust seems good quality and is still working well after 2 months. The engine sound is somewhat deeper and louder when the car accelerates, but overall I am happy with.
Replace the gasket with a new one. I could have avoided making a second trip to the auto parts store and was able to get the part easily and cheaply.
It is similar to the last hanger at the bumper of the tail pipe This hook had been bent by the factory a little too quickly, so I had to cut about an inch off and bend upward. Also, at two of the insert ends I would have to cut them off as well. The rest of the fit was excellent.
