These gauges aren't cheap, but they're well worth the investment. For a while, I had glow shift, with the emphasis on the word HAD. I kept getting accurate readings on glowshift, which said 15 psi when it was half that, and the egt temperature was all over the place. I was fed up with dealing with their shoddy warranty and decided to go with a brand I knew I could trust: Auto Meter. Auto Meter is still made in the United States and has excellent quality. The gauges function as expected, and installation was not difficult. The only thing I'd change if I were them is to make the needles more orange to better match the stock needles, though I have new old stock needles, so they're brand new and not faded like everyone else's. If I had another truck to put them in, I'd buy them again.
Over the last decade, the quality of autometers has deteriorated significantly. Everywhere you look, you can see people cutting corners. Who in their right mind would want a pyro with a slip-fit thermocouple secured with a cheasy set screw? Hello! The application has been improved. Pressure in the engine/exhaust leak!.
This gauge was installed in my 2003 GMC after I purchased a pillar pod. It looks fantastic and blends in well with the factory gauges. It's nearly identical with dash lights at night. This gauge has exceeded my expectations. It's been a few months since I've used it.
Everything is in order. The gauges are identical to the ones that came with the car.
