I've used this gauge before, and the reason for the three stars on the installation is because of the vehicle it was installed in. There are no holes in the dashboard, and the simplest way to get a boost source was through a 1/8 NTP hole in the intercooler up pipe, which is why I didn't go with a vacuum/boost version. In most cars, the gauge is precise and simple to install.
This was installed in my Volvo S60 t5 from 2004. It really works.

On a 12-liter caterpillar, use to read boost.
An 18-year-old computer was replaced. year- With this one, it's an old gauge, but it's a very responsible purchase, and I'm pleased with it.
It's a lot better than the readout on my computer screen.
This is the one I put in my '97 Passat TDI. I'm looking forward to using it with the pyrometer that goes with it! I used a pillar pod from a first-generation Dodge as a starting point.
