COMP Cams Keyway Adjustable Timing Sets are made with high-quality components. Both the camshaft and crankshaft gears are made of billet steel that has been induction hardened.
COMP Cams Keyway Adjustable Timing Sets feature 9 keyways on the crankshaft sprocket, which are designed to help ensure the best performance. The camshaft is installed with zero degrees of advance in the middle keyway, while the other eight keyways allow for 8 degrees of advance or retard in two degree increments.
This true double roller chain is designed to handle street and race applications without loosening up, and it comes pre-stretched and heat-treated from the factory. Our chains feature a heavy-duty large pin design that ensures timing accuracy for the life of your engine, and they're also available separately!

Is this compatible with a Gen 3 5? Is it possible to have three LM7 engines?
This is the right size for you. 3L LM7. However, keep in mind that this timing set has a 4-pole reluctor (58X) and a 3-bolt camshaft gear. That's not unusual, but if you don't know how yours is set up, it can cause problems with your cam/crank sensor agreement when it's time to set up the ECU and such.
Would be a good fit for the ls1 5. a z28 from the year 1998?
No, this won't work with an LS1 engine; you'll need part number 7102 instead.
Is this going to work for a 5? 3L LS4?
It will not fit the LS4 engine because that engine uses a single bolt cam, whereas this one uses three. 7107, which is a four pole reluctor and singe bolt, should suffice.
Will it fit a 2010 Camaro SS with the LS3 engine?
Only if you have a 4 pole Ls3 with a 58x reluctor.

This is a fantastic product for use in a performance setting! To make room for the double roller design, you'll need to modify the front timing cover. The cam sprocket and oil pump must clear the cover, so the modification entails sanding material away.

Although the timing appears to be correct, I spent two hours cleaning and de-cluttering. There were a lot of machining burrs on the upper gear and the oil pump drive collar after burring.
