Skunk2's high-quality race-proven dual valve springs are included in each kit, resulting from nearly two decades of racing and engine building experience.

Each valve spring in the Pro Series XP racing series is made entirely of super-clean, chrome-silicone wire milled in Japan.

The seat pressure on this spring is 100 pounds per square inch at 1 inch. For higher lift camshafts, the coil bind height should be kept at 6 inch.

On the engine dyno, on the street, and on the race track, Pro Series XP racing valve springs have been tested at speeds exceeding 11,000 revolutions per minute; Japanese-milled, super-clean chrome silicone wire is 100% eddy-current inspected before coiling.

The end result is a lightweight valve spring that can safely accommodate high-lift camshafts while also providing superior load loss resistance, even in the most extreme operating conditions.

For my jrsc k24a2 build, I ordered these Amazon warehouse deals and received a box full of used OEM springs. Even worse, despite my note about the mixup, Amazon relisted them for sale. Do not purchase one of the warehouse deals.
